Broke an ankle. After i took my cast off. It took me a month to make my first step on crutches. And a couple of more months to comfortably walk without crutches, yet a 5 minute walk still makes my feet hurt. It takes a while for healing. Medical shows set an unrealistic example on people.

Just trust the process and know that healing can take longer for some than others. It was a big surgery, so the healing is going to take more likely up to a year for all the swelling to go down. I think it’s coming along well.

Not only does surgery take time to heal, there are very complex things they’re going to need to do. There’s a lot of stuff in the face (blood vessels, nerves, etc), and a good surgeon wouldn’t risk causing more damage to get it all done in one go.
Because some folks are just nasty. Ignore them lovey. It will all be okay. All the right people with their hearts in the right places wish you every happiness. Don’t let the mean people rent a room in your head. ❤ xx

Sorry. People are idiots. I had plastic surgery and it took a full year for the final result! Be patient. Swelling goes down and sometimes things might need a little tweaking. You hang in there! 😊
