Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I tried this out and the art supplies definitely matter to me
What if you mess it up
I mean, yes and no, because your art supplies can also dictate the speed and struggle in which you improve, if that makes sense? Like, learning water color is gonna be torture unless you invest in good paper, and pencil drawing is made better with more pencils allowing for a wider range of values. It all depends on the supply itself, though.
Talent is imaginary, practice is everything.
The best thing about this channel is that it has talent and inspiration ready to go upload on UA-cam just for us. And he also says the steps about what we need to do and what colors we need.. The results were WOW 🤩

Love the step by step on blending. I had the pressure variations down but need the tip for blending to smooth the color grains and pencil strokes. Never would have thought of using the lighter color on the darker ones to smooth the color and improve my gradient fades. Thanks so much! 🤗❤️👍🏾💯
I used to be good at drawing anime characters when I was in elementary and junior year in highschool. My favorite part of drawing were always the eyes 💖. But right now I'm not good at it anymore. Watching this video brings the passion again to draw 😁

I love art so so much and I do it daily but I have always struggled with drawing straight lines and blending colours mainly because art supplies are so expensive so I tend to stay on the cheep to mid range of prices and this video helped me so much and it has inspired me to try new techniques and not to rush things ♥️

I got new colouring pencils for Christmas last year, and watched this mainly for advice on blending for anime eyes, I didn’t realise the white colouring pencil could be used to blend something so well! Awesome to see some Color Pencil Tutorials out there.
It's how I got my start into Art.
Though When I started I didn't Really have tutorials like this and Just mainly taught myself these techniques.
Definitely a Different Take than what I did.
I would have to plan out where my highlights where and Drew around them as I didn't exactly have a White Pen that could work over my Color pencil work.
My Hand tends to be a Bit Heavy, but I also Prefer to just have soft Tip as I'm very impatient when it comes to art. Have to work around a disability that makes it to when I stop on anything I am very unlikely to get it done.
My art Style has adapted to follow that. Most my Art is done with in 2 hours. (With Some exceptions of them being up to 8 to 10 hours.)
I get Hyper focused when I want to do something, but If I stop anywhere Midways I never get back to it due to that I never get around to it. I start way too many other projects that take it's time.
Not saying that I can't have a Piece that takes a week. If I have a set Schedule where I work on it and freetime where it's just me and it. I get longer projects done.

When I was a kid me and frnds use to draw in our sci book 😂 we use to do a lot of competition and just bcoz of that we were so interested in drawing we kept practicing and now we're working on making portraits we started drawing when we were 7 and now we're 13 this year 😁
