Literally weeping because I’m studying Job rn and his unshakable faith in the face of adversity is astounding. The main passage that struck me was: “Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship. He said, “I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord!” Job 1:20-21 NLT Imagine if our response to suffering was worship? We can’t just regurgitate “God is good” when things are good. We have to really believe it even when they’re not. Bless this young lady
Yess!! My mom is doing the Bible reading plan as well this year and we had this very conversation when I read that passage as well. I had to sit in that feeling and reflect on how I am whenever I am suffering. Definitely eye opening & Job should be our model but it is so so hard. His pain and suffering were devastating and SO real and yet he still praised God 👏🏾👏🏾 That is the kind of heart posture I hope to have in the good times & especially in the bad. His faith was truly astounding, and I agree with everything you said!

I like using pencil bible app w/my studies as it allows me to use my iPad and Apple Pencil like pen and paper and I can journal in an electronic bible. Now I cannot only carry my bible with me I can participate in my online studies and make notes or highlight as I go.

no I haven't but I am going to start using them, I know this question might be off topic but what advice do you have for a Chirstian women listing to Selular music I have recently stop listening to rap music I haven't listen to a rap song in 2 weeks I'm proud myself, but I have been listening to gospel and Chirstian r and b I really enjoy listing to Madsion Ryann ward I really been enjoying her music, listing to rap wasn't really serving me any purpose when I was listening rap music it was like the songs was always stuck in my head.. thank you for reading may God bless you, happy new year
That’s a good question! I plan to do a video on this because this is something I went through as well. My main advice is to you since you liked rap would be to find Christian rap artists! Two of my favorites are Hulvey and Jah Heer. There are so many out there and this way you enjoy the music but the lyrics are instead glorifying God & keeping your mind on Him 😊 I love Madison’s music too! Happy New Year & God bless you 💕
It would be very helpful if you show the words you're saying. I had to listen several times before I could decipher that you were saying "First Five" instead of Verse 5. The links to these items would also help. Just a thought.
Hi, I’m sorry that you were unable to decipher - they do sound similar. UA-cam does allow everyone to turn on closed captions for videos and then all the words will appear on the screen. I screen recorded all the apps in the video so everyone watching could see the names of the app and what they looked like in order to go to the App Store for their device and download.
