Thanks for recommending these amazing apps! I would also mention the Through The Word app, which I discovered thanks to a You Version reading plan. It's basically a chapter-by-chapter audio guide through the whole Bible, this is what I'm using while reading the Bible from cover to cover (I'm in Isiah now). It even fits in a busy student life, as the audio guides are usually 5-15 minutes long for each chapter.
Thank you for sharing! The Through The Word app sounds like such a fantastic resource, especially for busy schedules. I love how it complements your journey through the Bible, chapter by chapter. Praying your time in Isaiah continues to be meaningful and enriching! 📖
Thanks as I watched I paused the video to download each app and I’ll be watching this video periodically so I can use each one the best way! Thanks for the tips🙏🏻 Well spoken, good video God bless you sister in Christ 👍😇
Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement! I’m so glad you found the video helpful and are diving into the apps - praying they bless your time in God’s Word. God bless you too, and thank you for watching! 🙏
Thank you for these suggestions. I have Our Daily Bread, which has "Evening Meditations" that I listen to every night when I go to bed. Also, Bible Gateway, Malachi Daily (for memorizing) and World Challenge. I will definitely look into these others.
I have 3 of your top 5: YouVersion of the Bible; Blue Letter Bible; and I have a lifetime membership in Dwell. Others I have that you may also have or might want to look into are: ESV app; New City Catechism; Filament; Five Psalms; and Fighter Verses. I plan to look into the Verses app and The Bible Project! A video about memorizing scripture would be welcome! First heard of you on Focus on the Family. I am a fan! Blessings and hugs from Abilene, Texas!
Many a times have I wished I had chucked this accursed piece of hardware out of the window!...😂😅 It is my Achilles' heel, indeed... :( This is why I am back to feeling paper and smelling the pages... (Does anyone else do this?)😅. No more eye-strain! Plus, no issues with batteries and other silly distractions! I deplore how social media makes me waste time sometimes. UA-cam is my last stronghold, encroached in my heart: I wish I could shake it off. But I love you so much, so... I am not going anywhere.❤😂😅
There’s something truly special about the feel and smell of real pages, and it’s wonderful that you’re rediscovering the joy of reading without distractions. Social media can be a challenge, but your thoughtful approach to staying intentional is inspiring. And thank you for your kind words - I’m so glad you’re here! ❤
That’s great to hear! It sounds like the Children’s Bible App is such a wonderful tool for introducing kids to God’s Word in an engaging way. Thanks for sharing! 😊
