New Pokémon Snap is an upcoming sequel to the 1999 Nintendo 64 game Pokémon Snap. It is a first-person simulation video game with rail shooter style gameplay mechanics. It is being developed by Bandai Namco Studios and planned to be published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company for the Nintendo Switch
Explore lush scenery on unknown islands to snap photos of Pokémon in their natural habitats
Seek out and take in-game photographs of Pokémon in their native environments in the New Pokémon Snap™ game, only for the Nintendo Switch™ system! Snap photos from the NEO-ONE as you you encounter and research lively wild Pokémon. Investigate the mysterious Illumina phenomenon
Travel to the islands that make up the Lental region. In this region, some of the Pokémon and vegetation will appear to have a special glow. Research these Pokémon alongside Professor Mirror as you explore dense jungles, vast deserts, and more! Your observations of Pokémon thriving in the wild may help unravel the truth behind the Illumina phenomenon. The Pokémon pictures you take will be used to build your very own Pokémon Photodex!
Save, edit, and share your favorite Pokémon photos
Save photos to your personal in-game album to edit and adjust them. When you complete a course, you can adjust the brightness, blur, zoom and other aspects of your photo in Re-Snap mode. Then, add stickers, frames, and filters to add a personal touch. Share your favorite photos with family and friends in-game*. You can also see what kinds of photos everyone else is taking. Second island level, stage 2. Throw fruit at the school of fish in the beginning, one will jump. The wingul will swoop down and grab it. 4 star on wingul.

Your videos are the best. Very helpful. I like the run throughs of the entire stage because it points out stuff I might have missed. I'm still trying to figure out 4 star Altaria and figure out what's in the sand near the end of the day time desert

that one seems to be the hardest
Going by Serebii's Completed map, there are 5 locations. The 5th one being at the end.
1. At the start to your right
2. To your left in the Crater area
3. To your right in the Crater area
4. There's a gap in the ceiling during the right path
5. Then of course at the end for the best shots
I can never get it at the 4th location. Is it random or can you make it happen?

I cant find the first feather, there is a feather under the torkel.
Then i retry, and Ho-oh is not showing up above charmander, and there are no feathers anymore.

I got the photo of Ho-Oh at the very beginning of the course but none of the feathers showed up even after I submitted that photo. Does it depend what level you're doing it on??

There's 2 Mawile in that area. Look for videos on the legendary in that area. I'm with you on the Pumpkaboo, that little guy is SHY!

One I DON'T feel guilty for having looked up online.
4 spots, then take another picture after taking all those, and on the same run get all 3 feathers including one you'd never find without knowing under the Torkoal.

I could use some help getting Typhlosion's 4-star photo.
Enter the Volcano at level 3. At the start of the level, look up and Typhlosion will be there. Hit him with an apple and he’ll run off. In the next area, look for an Aerodactyl that goes to a ledge towards the left. Typhlosion will be there. Hit him with an Illumina Orb and he will do some big explosive-type attack. Take a photo of this attack for the 4-star photo

Casually asking a legendary Pokémon to do tricks.
I photographed Ho-oh loads of times but the feathers aren't appearing. Definitely smack in the middle of the shot, got a decent score at the end of the stage, but not a single feather is showing up.
Edit: nevermind, you have to finish the course with a photo of him first! Then go back to do it again and get the feathers.
