New Pokémon Snap is an upcoming sequel to the 1999 Nintendo 64 game Pokémon Snap. It is a first-person simulation video game with rail shooter style gameplay mechanics. That Sylveon pic has some lore backed up into it. According to its ORAS Dex entry, whenever Sylveon senses conflict, it will use its soothing aura and presence to act as a mediator and cause the battling Mons to be at ease.
Having Pidgeot fly up and smile at me made this game worth it.

Play music to the Hoothoot in the tree to attract more Hoothoots and get a four star photo
Hoothoot’s “second foot” was actually visible the whole time! When Hoothoot stand they are stepping up and down at the same place with both their feet so fast that it looks like one foot! Jus a little fun fact about Hoothoot that I think is really cool :)
No. It's not "visible the whole time". It stands on one foot and alternates its footing very fast but one stays visible and one hidden.
Thanks for the tip on the Sylveon! I've only managed to get a 1 and a 3 star version, and I didn't know about the Heracross in the tree where the Pinsir is sleeping!
Can I just say that the Pidgeot Friendship request is one of the cutest requests ever? ^^ It reminded me of when my family and I had a cockatiel, but he was so attached to me for some reason!

I think parrots are classified by the shape of their beaks, size and/or movements.

Dang, I was hoping this video might have shown the third Pidgeot location, it's the last one I need to complete my research map, this just has the first, second, and fourth locations.

@@yurijuri29 I've since found it! You can make Pidgeot swoop down on Magikarp at night. You have to hit it with an apple - not feed it - in the Bouffalant field and again by the river, then use an orb on Magikarp.

Does anyone else take the photos and get them assessed but the requests don’t register that they did them? 😥 I did all the tips here and it registered the Tangrowth but not the Caterpie and the Pinsir requests 🧐

Pidgeot is one of my favorite pokemon because of that
i can't get the combee request. i guess i suck at choosing what that picture of them dancing is supposed to be. i got the vespiquen dancing just can't seem to get the combee one.

The picture has to be of when Sylveon dances with them, not just when they're fighting regularly

I've only watched to the bug fight and honestly I'm mad. Nothing in this game teaches you to scan multiple times to get things to happen.

@@fatnugs3925 Yeah, but there generally isn't an inclination to do it 5 times in a row unless something different happens during tries 2-4
@@GuyAngon speak for yourself. As soon as i read the pokemon interact with scans i was scanning everything multiple times. Just because you didnt pick up onit doesnt mean others didn't.

Oh player tip If you hit sylveon but play the music before you hit the pincer and hericross with the lumino ball. Hericross will win the fight
And if you hit Pigiot with the lumio ball it will in the beginning at the park it will shake it's wings like jazz hands

there is one four-star shot I found that isn't a quest. When the park at night was level one, I got a shot of a Caterpie using String shot. I'm not sure where to find it again but I know it happened.
Okay, so I managed to reproduce it, I was going through the wooded area of the park at night on level 1 and when I did a scan near the Caterpie on the ground, they started shooting string up. I have not tested it on tree Caterpie, but the Caterpie behind the sign will just retreat if you do it.
I was able to manage that shot as well haven’t been able to get it again though😩
It would help if you showed which level you are playing

I'm having a hard time finding all the pokemon for this stage to complete the photodex map. I've done the course at least 50 times and have tried everything. Has anyone completed the map? And if they did, is there a specific pokemon that was especially hard to find?
You need both the park day and night and the research center where the professor is... in total there are 40 Pokemon in Florio island
Pidgeot and magikarp, you have to do similar to the request where you get pideot to grab magikarp. Hit pidgeot twice with fruit and he will loop to the right. Photograph him as he watches magikarp then orb magikarp and get a photo of magikarp being carried away. With the dlc out you may have to do the secret path and get the extra pokemon that appear at the end like morelull and pichu
I kept trying to get the Vespiquen but she won't come out.
Does that net Vespiquen 3 star? Because seems to be the only one I can't get.
Vespiquen 3 Star is by far the hardest one to get. I got mine during Lvl 1 Research run and snapped a bunch of photos from behind it when it flies in. I think the 3 star is when it issues the first order to the Combees upon arrival. It’s a small window. Almost any picture of Vespiquen dancing is a 4 star shot.
If you haven't got it yet they make it a lot easier with the dlc secret path at night. Go over the top of torterra and she's always doing a 3 star pose, easily get a score over 4000 as well

No matter what angle my Heracross vs Pinsir fight AND my Combee dancing picture aren’t counting. They have the 4 star rating but the request isn’t counting. What am I doing wrong?!
You need to get Sylveon to break up the fight for the request. Needs to be all 3. Combee I think needs Vespiqueen and all the combee around. There’s so many request I get them confused but I think that’s what you have to do

I had the same issue. My request was counting when i took a picture of pinsir beeing happy when sylveon breaks the fight.

you unlock a boost later in the game. When you zoom in you move a bit slower.
