- Up and coming Irish artist, Hozier, sits down with Tobi to explain how to correctly pronounce his name, where he's spending his birthday, and what music to expect from this buzzy artist in the near future.
I like the way he didn't correct her directly on the Dublin in the UK remark, but mentioned the UK and Ireland in the next sentence, classy.

This interviewer talked a bit too much but it just showed how attentive and charming this guy is.
I just wanted to compliment how tactful this is. Just after reading all these people insulting her with no shame. It's like we've forgotten that we don't have to judge and insult people all the time. Also I agree her interview style makes him look even better. :]

when you do an interview, it's best to remember the ARTIST is who the audience is listening for, not the air talent. air talent in this day and age do not get air checked so they get little, if any, proper guidance to conduct an interview. Therefore, no one says, "hey keep your talking to a minimum." or "keep your interjections to a minimum" This was fine but she could have dialed herself back. The artist is the STAR. The interviewer leads the dance but should not be the focal point of the interview.
I wonder has she any idea Dublin is in Ireland? She seems to think it's a country or (which is much worse) part of the UK......
Not to mention he's not even from Dublin, he's from Wicklow

I don't like how she says Dublin and not Ireland. Dublin is one out of 32 counties in Ireland (26 In ROI) EG: Oh St Patricks day is a holiday in DUBLIN? I mean its a holiday in every county... Still love Hozier ❤️

Interviewer seems lovely but she seems like she likes to hear her own voice. She'll ask a question and when Andrew wants to answer, she'll add another remark almost nullifying the original question. Very frustrating. If you read this, ask less questions. Ask open ended questions and let us listen to the interviewee please.

For Christ's shake people. It's obvious that he's using the debate. The old Madonna trick about sexuality and religious blasphemy (combined) in pop music. Yes yes he's an oppressed Irish boy and those are his existential concerns but wait for another couple of years and let us see if he's still around. As a real artist and not as an alternative product. And that applies to Sam Smith too.
