At least Bruce Jenner competed against men like himself. This Lia person could not cut it competing against other men so he decided to compete against women, there is no honor in that, then again I guess some people will do anything to win. BTW I still refer to Bruce as Bruce and as far as the other one you mentioned I don't refer to him as anything. I guess a person has the right to try and pass themselves as something they are not, but they or you do not have the right to make me accept it.

I envision a future where unfair rulings will be reversed and rightful recognition awarded retroactively (hopefully not posthumously) to the biological women athletes like yourself who strove so hard to be excellent. This cannot last; it's unsustainable. The society that upholds such madness must either change or go extinct.
For what it's worth, true greatness is absolutely every woman's calling still, if she will be true to herself. My mother and sisters, my wife and my daughter are each worthy of recognition for greatness in their own right, and it's NOT somehow less valid because they're beautiful, noble women of fierce strength and uncompromizing integrity.
I look to the remarkable, majestic examples of these women in my life as a source of strength to overcome my own challenges, and feel to honor them for their greatness. I wouldn't be much of a man if I didn't.

Thank you!!! I was a competitive swimmer for 12 years and went to college on a scholarship. There is a reason that there are separate qualifying standards for the sexes. All that this so called equality is going to do is make girls think twice before competing. Swimming is an incredibly hard sport and you earn every meter. To let a biological male compete with females is not equal.

@trick3kidd The bias is against biological women. Athletes are screened for steroid or enhancers of any kind before competing, other wise it is not a fair game of play. So, if that is the case then why are WOMEN being subjected to competing against someone who is biologically male? No amount of training or steroids will EVER give a biological female a chance against a male, even a weak one like Thomas.
Having a space for women and femmes that is inclusive of trans women doesn’t end female spaces. It just makes them inclusive. Acting as if every trans woman in a femme space is going to disrupt it, be a danger to others or will “end female only spaces” is disingenuous at best and hateful fear mongering at worst.
The “just use a private changing room” argument always strikes me as a rehash of the “separate but equal” doctrine from the segregation era. “White people feel uncomfortable sharing a restaurant with black people! Why do you demand to be let into the white restaurant when there’s a perfectly good black restaurant down the street?”

These are men with a sexual disorder, a paraphilia that needs to be treated. To solve this issue, just change the titles of sports from "men's" and "women's" to XY and XX. That way the athletes are free to identify however they wish, but they have to compete based on the their sex chromosomes. Simple.
