A MAJOR HIKE! Ascending Mount Major in Alton, New Hampshire

Hi, this is Eric from wanderwitheric.com!
A beautiful spring day found me ascending the summit of Mount Major, near Alton, New Hampshire. While it's not one of the tallest or most challenging hikes in NH, it does offer spectacular views of nearby Lake Winnipesaukee and the Lakes Region! All in all, it was a fun hike on a fine day.

Thanks for asking! If I remember right, it took a few hours, moving at a pretty casual pace.
