Absolutely one of the best mechanical videos I have ever watched. Clear video, clear communication and excellent tips along the way without a bunch of mumbo jumbo. THANK-YOU SIR

For Christ sake this is what I've needed for the last 2 weeks. Excellent video, perfect choice of words, fantastic visual for what your explaining. Hopefully my stupid fan clutch nut still has enough grip. Any chance your aware whether the fan needs to come out for the alternator removal? No matter what I do, I can't wiggle my alternator out of the mounting area unless I remove fan blade. Couldn't get the fan clutch nut off, Going to grab the pump holding tool online. thanks for posting this video

Hello Rich, I'm wondering if you could give me some guidance on changing the serpentine belt on an 05 SLK55 AMG? My belt is cracking and it needs to be replaced but when I look at the clearance between the fan shroud and the pulley system I see nothing but cuts, scrapes and bruises in my future if I try to change the belt without removing the fan and shroud. Can you give me some insight as to how you would approach the job? I'm a decent mechanic but I lack the specialized knowledge for this particular job and I'd rather learn from someone who's done it than by trial and error and a bunch of extra steps. I'm hoping you can steer me in the right direction and if so thanks in advance.
