I feel like the weapon would’ve benefited from having attacks that don’t launch the anchor. Like, it’s main form is more of a double scythe/axe with its own set of combos then launching it could change the style. In effect, the weapon differentiates itself by being a stance-switcher. They could even carry it to Kraken who now focuses on displacement and area control. I imagine big enemies getting picked up and thrown to others or to Bayonetta. Kraken could even have a whirlpool ability as a floor-based alternative to Malphas’ tornado.
@@wl4810 Is it only that trigger? I was thinking more of an entire extra moveset you could switch between, something to make the combat more visually appealing (for me, at least) Either way, dang… I haven’t seen people use that attack. It’s only been the long chain swings for me
@@wl4810 I suppose… It’s just that none of the people I’ve watched have extensively used it. They keep defaulting to the extended chain. Still, I’m still a bit of a curmudgeon about it. I love the weapon, it just feels like there’s some untapped potential by having the chain extend for about 90% of the moves instead of mixing the range capabilities.
I think it would've been better if the anchor is only launched when the button is hold down, or the kick button is for the long range anchor launch while the punch is for up close attack
I can't complain about the weapon. It's design is sick, the attacks are good and I used it to beat rodin with the 《 》 punch, r r, 《 》 kick combo along with the umbran clock tower jump move (causes witch time to activate). This is a good combination. All you really need to do is get the timing correct to prock an extended witch time with the clock tower and learn the pattern of rodin's attacks and you're golden. I also used the earring of time and eternal testimony.
I think the real problem is that the Heavy Weapons just don't have many enemies that it can be effective against, at least not without having the Guns/a faster weapon alongside it. They do far too much damage against the smaller enemies to meet combo point requirements but are far too slow and leave you too vulnerable against the bigger enemies to meet the already strict time requirements. I've found some success with G-Piller paired with any of the guns by using the command skills/masquerade strikes but... Well, the bulk of that success is still mostly brought about due to the guns than G-Piller itself. I think moveset wise, the heavy weapons are fine they just don't many areas to be effective because of the enemy design before anything else.
I don’t know! I’m actually having a lot of fun with it! Just feels so satisfying hearing it launch and smack a crap ton of enemies and then turn into a kraken monsters with tentacles that slice through enemies. Guess it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
You're going to do a video like this for each weapons or just cassiopea and alruna since they're not obtained during the main story ? (I sincerely hope you do this for each one of them tho since there is'nt a single video on youtube showcasing like this)
Lets face it, from design prospective Cassiopea is same cutie Alraune, but more uglier. Also reeeeeeeealy slooooow weaaaaapooooon. I hate amount of slow weapons in bayo 3, it should be more fast pased gameplay.
My eyes are DOWN HERE

But it does have attacks like this. You simply need to use the tetsu attack of the moveset, or any other Masquerade attacks.

Pretty sure the clock tower is broken and works with anything
I want to love this weapon and demon, like the design is awesome but gameplay wise its just not...fun
I have the same thoughts
Yeah I feel like the heavy weapons just need more to them in general

This weapon reminds me of Chōsokabe Motochika´s spear-anchor in Sengoku Basara.
Cereza went full splatoon over here 🦑
We interrupt Bayonetta 3 to bring you Splatoon
Bayonetta really said "splatoon" when she does dashes lmao

It looks faster than dead end express and the club
@@danielmartins9901 dead end express has as much fast moves as slow moves.
