So the biggest problem with this game is that it lacks some polish and play testing for a smooth experience? That seems like a fine trade off for a competent indie game that is doing a good job challenging the likes of Pokémon. Also I played both the Digimon Story games that came out recently, and if its roughness is comparable to those games, I imagine I love this game very easily.
Yea, honestly if I reviewed this game last week I’d have a different score, but a patch they released over the weekend fixed many bugs and quality of life issues I had
@@greggreg2458 None. The dlc so far and the first big update planned to add New game plus and challenge mode is free. Everything you had to pay for in the first game is just in the game here.
I played this game on mobile before, and was worried the console release wouldn't add or improve enough. I'm glad to see otherwise though! Looks like I'll be getting this game after all :)
Really glad to see Pokemon face some real competition from this and temtem. Competition can only ever benefit the consumer. Looks good! Never saw this before, will have to check it out
A good way to fight the scaling is when ever to find a nexomon thats a higher level version of one you already have just catch it to replace the lower level one and just release the lower level versions of nexomon you have duplicates of unless you need them for trades, i understand why they wanted scaling because its a constant issue in pokemon games where your either too overleveled or underleveled and its incredibly hard to always stay at a balanced level and im completely against removing leveling altogether, at the end of the day these are essentially just party based JRPG style games where 99% of them have leveling and it just feels weird and unnatural to not have it, these are RPGs, RPGs need leveling imo, id rather have scaling, it gives the entire game worth and promotes 100% completion and replayability
The graphics and "animation" kinda kill it for me, not a fan at all of this style, but i'm glad to hear the story and writing is good as that's one of my main complaints with Pokemon which never seems to take that step further. Might give it a try if looking to scratch that monster capture itch.
They don't have online multiplayer but are looking to add it. Multiplayer costs a lot of money, especially for an up and coming indy group like this. It really is going to depend on it's reception, I think.
So happy to hear this game turned out great. I can't wait to play it friday.

The developers are committed to bringing patches to balance the game and add future content, so they are on the job.
@@PkmnTrainerAbram Do you know if this games has microtransactions? I hate game with them.

@@PkmnTrainerAbram Well thanks, i guess it's a must buy for me.

Ngl this looks fun as hell. I definitely have my eye on it. I saw it on the eshop last week or so and decided to wait for reviews

Gonna buy it. It's fine if it's harder than pkmn.

thanks for the review, I might get it it looks fun
So this is what a real -Shin Megumi- Pocket Man game looks like.
the wild mon scaling actually goes with the story not your party
so, is the story good?
Story is a bit more mature but yea it’s good :) there’s a nice twist too
@@NoisyPixelNews thanks, i wouldn't play games without a good story. gives me a reason to keep playing. love the review :]
Is this better than the 1st one?
Yes I believe it is
Is there online battling to it ?
I think it’s coming in a patch
The level scaling killed this for me.
Online ?
