Well despite the fact that wesker have a better speed and one of the most epic voice i've ever heard i don't see him being able to deal with mercer healing
WhiteWolf here and I must agree with all points. Wesker does have much greater speed and an epic voice that carries authority and power. But Mercer has much more than healing in his corner, but also strength, endurance, and lack of exploitable weaknesses.
WhiteWolf here, and that was an outcome that Reaper and I came to as well. But considering the trends seen in Mercer's consumption abilities I strongly suspect that he would still need to injure Wesker a bit. I suspect that his consumption of the Evolved in Prototype 2 was largely due to his action surprising the Evolved and thus preventing them from retaliating, Mercer's own increase of power since Prototype 1 being the other factor to the ease of that act.
Germy Forev Alex would still need to dead a few injuries to wesker and that could take some time because of his regen and speed but alex is much more versatile and let's be honest, wesker will never do any damage that is even comparable to a nuke
I'd argue the whole raw intellect and experience thing because Alex Mercer gets the memories and skills of the people he consumes and he consumes a lots of highly experienced military personal and top grade scientists heck even in the game you don't spend EP on rifle or vehicle upgrades you find master who are good at those things and consume them

Much respect to Wesker and his skills, but I'm sorry, I just don't see how he'd be able to take down Mercer. He's going up against an opponent who is stronger, more durable, has superior healing, and has more diversified abilities on him (e.g. shapeshifting, disguise, infected vision, etc.) The most Wesker got from the virus he injected into himself was a hardened skeletal system and that transformation he used at the end of RE5, but that's about it. Sure, he may be faster, but that's not really saying much here. In that case, Wesker is to Mercer what a cheetah is to a lion. When all is said and done, Alex Mercer walks away the winner here. He's simply too fortified, too adaptable, and too versatile for Albert Wesker to handle.
WhiteWolf here, and these are the very reasons why I said that Mercer would win. I liken this fight to a Warthog from the Halo universe going up against that giant construction machine from Ghost Rider 2, as well as the Spartan vs Ninja Deadliest Warrior episode. Wesker can move about in a way that will stump Mercer for a brief time, but Wesker won't be able to actually do much to Mercer. Wesker can, at most, hurt Mercer, but Mercer can kill Wesker in at least a half dozen ways.
Agreed, Alex'es powers can be classified as turning him into the evolution theory and put on steroids. In the comics made of him he is said to be able to adapt to basically anything and anyone

Not to take away from your research or points, Wesker is undoubtedly faster than Mercer. But no one ever seems to mention the fact that Mercer can make use of a dodge fast enough to parry missiles and heavy gunfire, even in mid-air. Missiles are fired at incredible speeds and just by seeing the move in the game it almost seems like he too near teleports. In game, we, the player, are limited to do this twice when upgraded, but since Mercer does not tire or feel fatigue, he can use this ability an indefinite number of times. Just something to think about, as he would likely use this skill when Wesker least expects it.
You can't be faster if you are not stronger bruh, welcome to real life laws, humans can't be faster, because muscles can't generate more explosive power, tendons and bones can't handle the power/impact. This is what strength is.

In my opinion, Mercer has a lot more experience because of how many people he’s had to absorb, power and intelligence in all. The only reason Wesker seems “faster” is cuz he’s moving faster than Chris can see, his combat speed is high. While that doesn’t translate to mobility speed, Mercer can outrun helicopters and cars easily. He may be able to at least see, at most, keep up with Weskers movement, and it’s already established he’s far stronger. So I think Mercer would stomp Wesker.
With the shield power we see that Alex can react to an M1 Abrams main cannon at extremely close ranges. I can’t pull up the calc but I’ve read somewhere that this fires projectiles at roughly mach 4, putting Mercer’s reaction speed comfortably at super sonic ranges.
You know how each mission ends with a report that includes how much money was expended trying to fight Mercer? Mercer's jog can cost millions with ease.

It was never forgotten that Mercer could do this, However I don't see Mercer being likely to take this route. Remember this is Mercer as he behaves in Prototype 2, meaning that it is extremely unlikely that he would approach a potential opponent in a non-confrontational way. At that point in his story Mercer's ego wouldn't let him not show off his abilities. It is something that he could do, but it is also something that he is unlikely to do for the aforementioned reasons.

Mercer doesn't take the skills of a person he consumed. He literally said "You take their forms and you take their memories" as in memories specified as the persons he consumed what he/she remembers not their skills. If Alex consumed everybody including, he would literally transcended as a person (even though he has but much much further) being able to do anything literally everything. Consuming gentek greatest mind. Military personnel, gifted people. Imagine if mercer had all their skills, heller would just a wipe off the shirt like you just got dust in your eye.

There's already like tens of example of Alex not taking their "skills" besides pilot because that's just how the developer made it. I'm not sure that Wesker is smarter than Mercer. Because Alex copied too much of memories and skills, even if Wesker was smarter than average person he can not be smarter than hundred or thousands of persons that was copied by Mercer. By the way Alex adopted a lot of skills from supersoldiers their combat skills will help him to dodge from the speed attacks.
WhiteWolf here, and while this is a fair point the problem is that we never get to understand the full extent of the memory consumption abilities Mercer displays. I could very well be wrong in this but I always saw it as Mercer absorbing the skills and memories pertaining to the subject he was after but purging the ones that were irrelevant to what he was doing at the time. On a humorous note in regards to this subject I would imagine that Mercer might have these times when someone he's consumed had a relative whose birthday comes along and Mercer has this sudden 'Oh crap, did I buy a present?' moment before remembering that it is just some scrap memories from a victim.

I think he will research on them a little bit after he finds out that just bashing them with his bare fists won't work ( if he dosent want to finish the fight with tendrils first) i mean he can use thermal vision to see regeneraters weak partd and then tear them apart by claws and consume them and then the rest would be no problem for him and his blade

If you want to feel like either Wesker or Krauser, or even Venom or Carnage then I highly recommend The Prototype games. You literally feel like a boss from an RE game and a boss from a Spidey game combined! They’re both amazing and way overlooked!!!!
One thing you missed is Alex's weaknesses that can be exploited, but not for long The virus is weak to electricity and stuns alex briefly. However the virus' adaptability would find a way to grow resistant to it, which will take time
The tough part is that Wesker's virus prevents the Mercer Virus from infecting him... Whether or not it works after death is unknown as Wesker "died" (sucked his head into his body at the last second) when Chris and Sheva shot those rockets at him... Even though that boss fight prior allowed you to shoot him with a rocket launcher and it didn't do anything but daze him for a second. And his "sister" never had her body recovered, to my understanding.
Ever since you asked I have been periodically thinking about that very question, and yes @@abbylim9857 I think I will. I would have to look back through the main storyline of games again to properly research this but I will most certainly do this as soon as possible. I just have a few other videos that are already being put together right now, and making a video that isn't a game playthrough requires at least a few weeks to properly research, script, and compile and potentially longer depending on what surprise tasks my job wants to give me. For this one possibly longer since I don't have any of my own Resident Evil footage so I would need to ask another UA-camr for permission to use theirs. But I will get to it, one way or another.
Would love to see a Nemesis VS G Berkin. We now know Berkin in his final form would demolish Mr. X in his final form, but Nemesis is, as far as my limited knowledge of Resident Evil lore is aware, the ultimate Tyrant. Or either of them vs the Supreme Hunter from Prototype. Your way of breaking things down would make for a kickass video. Or perhaps Hoas vs either the largest parasite gigante thingy (the one in the city that looks like a Graug from Shadow of Mordor), Orboros... Something with an O... Or Hoas vs the giant spider thing that attacks Chris Redfield in that giant elevator shaft?
One of the factors that I would like to point is the possibility of them ending up in a dark place. Wesker still can't see in the dark while Mercer can with heat vision. Mercer's only weaknesses would be fire and electricity. Unless Wesker can suddenly get those powers, he can't win regardless

You are completely wrong, Alex Mercer has no weakness. Electricity only damages, but it can not fire that does not work, Mercer easily destroys Wesker without any effort.

At the beginning of prototype 2 Mercer threw tank far away with only one hand and on other occasion he was faster than helicopters. But still both of them are my favourites.

That is a tricky one. I typically have a notion that the more secretive a fighting force the more elite and selective it must be, so whereas both forces are formidable (Umbrella with having actual bioweapons in their army and Blackwatch being experienced in eliminating bioweapons) I am in favor of Blackwatch more. This would be tricky since evaluating fighting forces is more complex than evaluating individuals, but it is a neat idea. But tell me Captain, did you see the fight between you and Jaune Arc on this channel?
mercer wins rather easy i have to say he is more durable close to wesker in speed has far greater attack potency and is over all just better in every way
I considered the car throw itself to be sufficient. The APC was a nice bonus to that but considering that we didn't see how far it was thrown mentioning it would have only reiterated the strength from the car throw.
Why did you didnt put in weskers equipment Uroboros form wesker? Tentacle tornado blades in uroboros hand and weapons he had in resident evil umbrella chronicles? But otherwise i agree with you :D
WhiteWolf here, and an excellent question. The general rule of a Vs. Match is that the characters are evaluated at their best, and while Wesker was undeniably enhanced by the Uroboros virus it actually decreased his threat level. Wesker is at his most dangerous when his inhuman abilities are paired off with a collected mind, and the repeated defeats and setbacks that he had suffered up to that point, coupled with the fact that he had been overdosed on his serum and took into himself a fairly unstable second virus, meant that while he was a bigger badie he was actually much less of a combatant than he was earlier in the game. Essentially, trying to reconcile the Uroboros enhancement with his normally calm, if supremely arrogant, demeanor would require more speculation than provable fact. But thank you for stopping by, and if you do have any suggestions for future matchups I am eager to hear them.

Because Wesker with Uroboros is more powerful, Alex in my opinion is not much impressive, to me people don't know the Wesker brute force, and resintance of nukes, in question of absorption Wesker is able to absorb the surface of the planet With Uroboros, and even With just progenitor Wesker is superior! People based in inconsistentions of resident evil ( like the serum), to justify the victory of your beloved character (alex mercer), mercer is like a kid fighting, he not able to use his power with precision, Wesker in other hand, is specialist in your own composition, wesker even don't get old. And not, Uroboros don't decreases wesker in nothing, it's even not make sense, Uroboros is totally power up to him, don't Confuse the gameplay, because in the gameplay hes not run!

@@localdude2979 Wesker vs Mercer is one that I am attempting to more closely emulate for later VS Matches, since it's clear that viewers really like that one.
And if I hadn't he would have crushed Wesker all that much quicker. Faster is debatable, at least in regards to combative speed. And my impression of intelligence is that while Mercer was clearly highly intelligent before his intelligence didn't increase with consumption. There was never any indication that he gained all of their knowledge but only the knowledge that was pertinent to what he was after. He never consumed a tank driver and learned who that driver was married to or slept with.
what do you mean alex mercer has no weapons ??? you know that his transformations count as weapons right or do they count as toys? and in prototype 2 alex mercer has hyper sonic speed and reflex able to dodge a tank shell without even breaking a sweat. not only that but he has a devastator attack which is really fast and powerful which would kill wesker because he would just be overwhelmed so many tentacles and as i mentioned they're really fast.
The logic being that those were counted under special abilities, in this channel's evaluations we count weapons as external equipment (such as the various guns Mercer can pick up). This is a decision meant to streamline the process and provide distinct compartmentalization of the character's abilities. The entire point is to understand these various pieces of the whole, then how those pieces stack (think either greater than the sum of the parts or spread too thin), finally how those wholes compare to each other. Admittedly when the video editing was occurring I didn't notice the lack of the devastator abilities, I later found that those had not been imported into my editing software due to corruption.

An excellent question, but one that we don't know the answer for. It is very possible that the Blacklight virus may simply destroy the T-Virus upon absorption, think white blood cells vs pathogen, but there is the possibility that the virus would be absorbed and integrated into Mercer's abilities. However, there isn't enough information to know for certain.
Yeah true but in overall I must say (and I know my nickname gives it away :D) but I will always love Wesker more as a powerfull villain with the speed of light and he regenerates to and dodges bullets like they were mnm's. Throws missiles like sticks and smart as hell. His persona is more interesting than Mercer's. But yeah I will not say Wesker could beat Mercer...just saying he is more of a true characteristic person for me than mercer. I am glad that you enjoyed the video, it was a tricky one to do since it got corrupted halfway through the project. I did like Wesker more than Mercer, since Mercer felt a bit...edgy to me, and I liked Wesker's more collected demeanor. As for Wesker vs a DC character, I will definitely consider it but I am in the middle of a move right now and can't post anything new for the next month or so.
You forgot Mercer's Devastator attack which basically explodes a massive amount of biomass and annihilates anything in a certain radius around him from the face of the Earth. Not to mention he canonically gets stronger with each being he absorbs and much much more. Also TECHNICALLY, Mercer has many of his 'evolved' followers to use as soldiers and pawns in combat. Although I assume this is only a duel.
Mercer has it in the bag why well let's start with his ability to consume a person and have his knowledge second is his weapons design to kill and last armor he pull out a shelled or his suit of armor

Lord Marshall has the speed, yes, but Wesker is physically superior. So unless the lord Marshall uses firearms or special weaponry, he won't mean all that much as he'll tire fat quicker than Marshall. Lord Marshall gets his strength, with which he sent Riddick flying, from the momentum at which he moves, which Wesker would match and surpass. But lord Marshall's Underverse/soul draining powers might pose bring forth unexpected factors... So who knows how that will impact the fight as we aren't sure exactly what he's capable of...
You seriously gave the equipment edge to Wesker? Alex IS a weapon... in fact, Alex is ANY WEAPON he wants to be. And you gave the experience to Wesker? Alex has the experience of THOUSANDS of people... And because of Alex has VASTLY OVERWHELMING experience, he could literally just use his armor form while trying to predict Wesker's next move to catch him and INSTANTLY kill him, or he could want to skip the bullshit and just use his tendrils to instantly catch and consume him.
The format used in these matches is organized in such a way as to already answer the first question. All of Mercer's weapons would fall under special abilities far more fittingly than under equipment and weapons, so rather than repeat the same things all over again I placed them in the category that fit best. Wesker got the equipment edge because he actually has equipment. And the impression I always got from the absorption is that while Blacklight carriers gain knowledge it seems to be knowledge pertaining to what the carrier was looking for. Mercer absorbing a tank driver didn't seem to gain the knowledge of where that driver went to high school or their personal life, only the knowledge of how to operate a tank. As for devastator attacks, I will admit that I had them in my notes but accidentally skipped them in the recording.

WhiteWolf here, and I actually had a good fight in mind for Riddick, though V does sound like an interesting matchup for our favorite escaped convict. I was originally thinking a Samurai Jack vs Riddick, but this V vs. Riddick is a fun one to consider. WhiteWolf here. And that is not refutable, we've seen Mercer showcase mind numbing strength. But it was just one of the factors that led to his victory here.
Actually his weapons, the claws or the blade, were evaluated as special abilities. A pistol, like with Wesker, is one thing but sprouting blades is another. Even if you use those blades as claws then they still fall under the purview of special abilities.
@@MCGProductions773 It's no problem, this format that Reaper and I created to evaluate characters was designed to try and cover as many bases as we could, you probably know that some franchises are a bit extensive and getting sufficient information to make a solid prediction is problematic, but we encourage any and all people to find flaws in our processes so that we can address them and do better next time. As for the consumption bit I would imagine that, much like the hunters, Wesker would need to be...tenderized a little before he could be consumed. But considering how easily he consumed his little gang in Prototype 2 he might be able to do it quicker than he could in prototype 1.

When he is "captured" by Mcmullen, he look away from the autopsy table a split second, and during that moment Mercer is aleready next to him. And lets not forget, gameplay!Wesker gets punched by 2 normal humans... people are wayyy underestemating Mercer's speed. I love where this conversation is going but the big issue remains the same with Mercer. The blast from a nuke didn't kill him, and we can assume it would be enough to destroy new york's infected area, and nothing that the protagonist's could throw at him can come close to that. Even if they damage him it will take ages and by the time it happens Mercer will have had the chance to absorb at least one of them, undoing their progress and making an already uphill battle all that much steeper.

WhiteWolf here and I must agree with all points. Wesker does have much greater speed and an epic voice that carries authority and power. But Mercer has much more than healing in his corner, but also strength, endurance, and lack of exploitable weaknesses.
Also the moment he gets his hands on him the fights over alex consumes him and gets a bunch of new genetic tricks.
WhiteWolf here, and that was an outcome that Reaper and I came to as well. But considering the trends seen in Mercer's consumption abilities I strongly suspect that he would still need to injure Wesker a bit. I suspect that his consumption of the Evolved in Prototype 2 was largely due to his action surprising the Evolved and thus preventing them from retaliating, Mercer's own increase of power since Prototype 1 being the other factor to the ease of that act.
Germy Forev Alex would still need to dead a few injuries to wesker and that could take some time because of his regen and speed but alex is much more versatile and let's be honest, wesker will never do any damage that is even comparable to a nuke

Much respect to Wesker and his skills, but I'm sorry, I just don't see how he'd be able to take down Mercer. He's going up against an opponent who is stronger, more durable, has superior healing, and has more diversified abilities on him (e.g. shapeshifting, disguise, infected vision, etc.)
The most Wesker got from the virus he injected into himself was a hardened skeletal system and that transformation he used at the end of RE5, but that's about it. Sure, he may be faster, but that's not really saying much here. In that case, Wesker is to Mercer what a cheetah is to a lion.
When all is said and done, Alex Mercer walks away the winner here. He's simply too fortified, too adaptable, and too versatile for Albert Wesker to handle.
WhiteWolf here, and these are the very reasons why I said that Mercer would win. I liken this fight to a Warthog from the Halo universe going up against that giant construction machine from Ghost Rider 2, as well as the Spartan vs Ninja Deadliest Warrior episode. Wesker can move about in a way that will stump Mercer for a brief time, but Wesker won't be able to actually do much to Mercer. Wesker can, at most, hurt Mercer, but Mercer can kill Wesker in at least a half dozen ways.
Wesker lost that speed when he injected himself eith the Uroboros virus. Lost his martial arts, too... And quite possibly his mind by the end of it.

Not to take away from your research or points, Wesker is undoubtedly faster than Mercer.
But no one ever seems to mention the fact that Mercer can make use of a dodge fast enough to parry missiles and heavy gunfire, even in mid-air. Missiles are fired at incredible speeds and just by seeing the move in the game it almost seems like he too near teleports.
In game, we, the player, are limited to do this twice when upgraded, but since Mercer does not tire or feel fatigue, he can use this ability an indefinite number of times.
Just something to think about, as he would likely use this skill when Wesker least expects it.

In my opinion, Mercer has a lot more experience because of how many people he’s had to absorb, power and intelligence in all. The only reason Wesker seems “faster” is cuz he’s moving faster than Chris can see, his combat speed is high. While that doesn’t translate to mobility speed, Mercer can outrun helicopters and cars easily. He may be able to at least see, at most, keep up with Weskers movement, and it’s already established he’s far stronger. So I think Mercer would stomp Wesker.
With the shield power we see that Alex can react to an M1 Abrams main cannon at extremely close ranges. I can’t pull up the calc but I’ve read somewhere that this fires projectiles at roughly mach 4, putting Mercer’s reaction speed comfortably at super sonic ranges.

It was never forgotten that Mercer could do this, However I don't see Mercer being likely to take this route. Remember this is Mercer as he behaves in Prototype 2, meaning that it is extremely unlikely that he would approach a potential opponent in a non-confrontational way. At that point in his story Mercer's ego wouldn't let him not show off his abilities. It is something that he could do, but it is also something that he is unlikely to do for the aforementioned reasons.

Mercer doesn't take the skills of a person he consumed. He literally said "You take their forms and you take their memories" as in memories specified as the persons he consumed what he/she remembers not their skills. If Alex consumed everybody including, he would literally transcended as a person (even though he has but much much further) being able to do anything literally everything. Consuming gentek greatest mind. Military personnel, gifted people. Imagine if mercer had all their skills, heller would just a wipe off the shirt like you just got dust in your eye.

I'm not sure that Wesker is smarter than Mercer. WhiteWolf here, and while this is a fair point the problem is that we never get to understand the full extent of the memory consumption abilities Mercer displays. I could very well be wrong in this but I always saw it as Mercer absorbing the skills and memories pertaining to the subject he was after but purging the ones that were irrelevant to what he was doing at the time. On a humorous note in regards to this subject I would imagine that Mercer might have these times when someone he's consumed had a relative whose birthday comes along and Mercer has this sudden 'Oh crap, did I buy a present?' moment before remembering that it is just some scrap memories from a victim.

The virus is weak to electricity and stuns alex briefly. However the virus' adaptability would find a way to grow resistant to it, which will take time

The tough part is that Wesker's virus prevents the Mercer Virus from infecting him... Whether or not it works after death is unknown as Wesker "died" (sucked his head into his body at the last second) when Chris and Sheva shot those rockets at him... Even though that boss fight prior allowed you to shoot him with a rocket launcher and it didn't do anything but daze him for a second. And his "sister" never had her body recovered, to my understanding.

I would have to look back through the main storyline of games again to properly research this but I will most certainly do this as soon as possible. I just have a few other videos that are already being put together right now, and making a video that isn't a game playthrough requires at least a few weeks to properly research, script, and compile and potentially longer depending on what surprise tasks my job wants to give me. One of the factors that I would like to point is the possibility of them ending up in a dark place. Wesker still can't see in the dark while Mercer can with heat vision. Mercer's only weaknesses would be fire and electricity. Unless Wesker can suddenly get those powers, he can't win regardless

That is a tricky one. I typically have a notion that the more secretive a fighting force the more elite and selective it must be, so whereas both forces are formidable (Umbrella with having actual bioweapons in their army and Blackwatch being experienced in eliminating bioweapons) I am in favor of Blackwatch more. This would be tricky since evaluating fighting forces is more complex than evaluating individuals, but it is a neat idea. But tell me Captain, did you see the fight between you and Jaune Arc on this channel?

I considered the car throw itself to be sufficient. The APC was a nice bonus to that but considering that we didn't see how far it was thrown mentioning it would have only reiterated the strength from the car throw.

WhiteWolf here, and an excellent question. The general rule of a Vs. Match is that the characters are evaluated at their best, and while Wesker was undeniably enhanced by the Uroboros virus it actually decreased his threat level. Wesker is at his most dangerous when his inhuman abilities are paired off with a collected mind, and the repeated defeats and setbacks that he had suffered up to that point, coupled with the fact that he had been overdosed on his serum and took into himself a fairly unstable second virus, meant that while he was a bigger badie he was actually much less of a combatant than he was earlier in the game. Essentially, trying to reconcile the Uroboros enhancement with his normally calm, if supremely arrogant, demeanor would require more speculation than provable fact. But thank you for stopping by, and if you do have any suggestions for future matchups I am eager to hear them.

Because Wesker with Uroboros is more powerful, Alex in my opinion is not much impressive, to me people don't know the Wesker brute force, and resintance of nukes, in question of absorption Wesker is able to absorb the surface of the planet With Uroboros, and even With just progenitor Wesker is superior! People based in inconsistentions of resident evil ( like the serum), to justify the victory of your beloved character (alex mercer), mercer is like a kid fighting, he not able to use his power with precision, Wesker in other hand, is specialist in your own composition, wesker even don't get old. And not, Uroboros don't decreases wesker in nothing, it's even not make sense, Uroboros is totally power up to him, don't Confuse the gameplay, because in the gameplay hes not run!

I'm very pretty sure Mercer is much much MUCH MORE faster and Intelligent than Wesker.
And if I hadn't he would have crushed Wesker all that much quicker. Faster is debatable, at least in regards to combative speed. And my impression of intelligence is that while Mercer was clearly highly intelligent before his intelligence didn't increase with consumption. There was never any indication that he gained all of their knowledge but only the knowledge that was pertinent to what he was after. He never consumed a tank driver and learned who that driver was married to or slept with.

and in prototype 2 alex mercer has hyper sonic speed and reflex able to dodge a tank shell without even breaking a sweat.
not only that but he has a devastator attack which is really fast and powerful which would kill wesker because he would just be overwhelmed so many tentacles and as i mentioned they're really fast.
The logic being that those were counted under special abilities, in this channel's evaluations we count weapons as external equipment (such as the various guns Mercer can pick up). This is a decision meant to streamline the process and provide distinct compartmentalization of the character's abilities.
The entire point is to understand these various pieces of the whole, then how those pieces stack (think either greater than the sum of the parts or spread too thin), finally how those wholes compare to each other.
Admittedly when the video editing was occurring I didn't notice the lack of the devastator abilities, I later found that those had not been imported into my editing software due to corruption.

An excellent question, but one that we don't know the answer for. It is very possible that the Blacklight virus may simply destroy the T-Virus upon absorption, think white blood cells vs pathogen, but there is the possibility that the virus would be absorbed and integrated into Mercer's abilities. However, there isn't enough information to know for certain.

Yeah true but in overall I must say (and I know my nickname gives it away :D) but I will always love Wesker more as a powerfull villain with the speed of light and he regenerates to and dodges bullets like they were mnm's. Throws missiles like sticks and smart as hell. His persona is more interesting than Mercer's. I am glad that you enjoyed the video, it was a tricky one to do since it got corrupted halfway through the project. I did like Wesker more than Mercer, since Mercer felt a bit...edgy to me, and I liked Wesker's more collected demeanor. As for Wesker vs a DC character, I will definitely consider it but I am in the middle of a move right now and can't post anything new for the next month or so.

You forgot Mercer's Devastator attack which basically explodes a massive amount of biomass and annihilates anything in a certain radius around him from the face of the Earth. Not to mention he canonically gets stronger with each being he absorbs and much much more. Also TECHNICALLY, Mercer has many of his 'evolved' followers to use as soldiers and pawns in combat. Although I assume this is only a duel.
Mercer has it in the bag why well let's start with his ability to consume a person and have his knowledge second is his weapons design to kill and last armor he pull out a shelled or his suit of armor

Lord Marshall has the speed, yes, but Wesker is physically superior.
So unless the lord Marshall uses firearms or special weaponry, he won't mean all that much as he'll tire fat quicker than Marshall.
Lord Marshall gets his strength, with which he sent Riddick flying, from the momentum at which he moves, which Wesker would match and surpass.
But lord Marshall's Underverse/soul draining powers might pose bring forth unexpected factors...
So who knows how that will impact the fight as we aren't sure exactly what he's capable of...
You seriously gave the equipment edge to Wesker? Alex IS a weapon... in fact, Alex is ANY WEAPON he wants to be.
And you gave the experience to Wesker? Alex has the experience of THOUSANDS of people...
And because of Alex has VASTLY OVERWHELMING experience, he could literally just use his armor form while trying to predict Wesker's next move to catch him and INSTANTLY kill him, or he could want to skip the bullshit and just use his tendrils to instantly catch and consume him.
The format used in these matches is organized in such a way as to already answer the first question. All of Mercer's weapons would fall under special abilities far more fittingly than under equipment and weapons, so rather than repeat the same things all over again I placed them in the category that fit best. Wesker got the equipment edge because he actually has equipment.
And the impression I always got from the absorption is that while Blacklight carriers gain knowledge it seems to be knowledge pertaining to what the carrier was looking for. Mercer absorbing a tank driver didn't seem to gain the knowledge of where that driver went to high school or their personal life, only the knowledge of how to operate a tank.
As for devastator attacks, I will admit that I had them in my notes but accidentally skipped them in the recording.

He can outrun vehicles and run up walls. It states through various sources he can run anywhere between 200-500 miles per hour. How mush fast can weaker move? And of course I didn't bring up reaction speed.

Actually his weapons, the claws or the blade, were evaluated as special abilities. A pistol, like with Wesker, is one thing but sprouting blades is another. Even if you use those blades as claws then they still fall under the purview of special abilities.

@@MCGProductions773 It's no problem, this format that Reaper and I created to evaluate characters was designed to try and cover as many bases as we could, you probably know that some franchises are a bit extensive and getting sufficient information to make a solid prediction is problematic, but we encourage any and all people to find flaws in our processes so that we can address them and do better next time. As for the consumption bit I would imagine that, much like the hunters, Wesker would need to be...tenderized a little before he could be consumed. But considering how easily he consumed his little gang in Prototype 2 he might be able to do it quicker than he could in prototype 1.

Not to mention Wesker has no way to hurt him, Mercer meanwhile could literaly gib him with one punch or tear him apart with one swipe.(as for gameplay!Mercer... try to imagine playing a character who is as fast if not faster than a bullet. I love where this conversation is going but the big issue remains the same with Mercer. The blast from a nuke didn't kill him, and we can assume it would be enough to destroy new york's infected area, and nothing that the protagonist's could throw at him can come close to that. Even if they damage him it will take ages and by the time it happens Mercer will have had the chance to absorb at least one of them, undoing their progress and making an already uphill battle all that much steeper.

In the start of the game, when he kills a soldier he gains all his memories, then goes on the hunt looking for his sister as an amnesiac.
