I have here a 6 month old zero hypo trans. The Baby had a respiratory infection last MARCH. The owner injected antibiotic in the tail to treat the RI, after a month he noticed the tail was crooked or curved it's like there's a letter "S" in the middle part of the tail. As of today, the baby seems active and eating. Could it be a METABOLIC BONE DISEASE Or a nerve that was hit by the needle from the medication for the RI. My other question is would he be able to breed healthy in the future and produce healthy babies? even tho he has a history of respiratory infection in his 3rd month?
Respiratory infections are hereditary so breeding something that has had it in the past, shouldn't be a big deal. However, breeding a dragon that is prone to getting RI, is not recommended because of the stress females go through during the process. As for the kink, that can occur over time due to fractures or any weird anomaly that the dragon has experienced. Being born with a kink isn't a sign of breeding either, sometimes the incubator could have spikes or dips in temp and that can do it.
hello .. can you give me advice what kind of breed can i pair for my Leatherback hypo trans ph wits female... i want to buy male and im not sure what breed
I would wait a few months. Typically you want to wait until they are back to normal weight and then also want to make sure they have no illnesses like respiratory infection or parasites.
Very organized and informative. Thank you
Thank you for sharing your knowledge

Are they ready to Breed year round? Or are there signs to look for when the female is ready?
Breeding season is during our spring and summer. You can try to breed year round but you won't have much luck.
