any of their "acoustic-ish" versions of videos/songs are top-tier content for sure! "I'm Confident That I'm Insecure", "The Weather", the acoustic version of this song (Don't Lose Sight), "23". all bangers!
I just saw them in Toronto on Wednesday. They are absolutely fabulous. No backing vocal tracks. They are brother and sister. Band of 8. Amazing. Go see them if they come near you
Gracie and Clyde (and Linus, who didn't appear on camera) are the Lawrence siblings, out of California. They're amazing. Gracie seemed to be having voice problems -- like, maybe she had a cold. She doesn't usually have the growl on the "tell my self" and the melisma coming back down. She usually delivers those pretty clearly. Find the acoustic version and give it a listen. Their backup singers and band are also all amazing. The normal line is "This shit's gonna kill me but I won't let it," but they changed the word to "thing's" for tv. If you want something new of theirs to react to, try "I'm Confident That I'm Insecure." Another of my favorites (a bit older) is "The Weather." Anytime there's a Lawrence acoustic version available, choose that over any "official video" version. They really deliver.
This song acousticish version is also fun. (Im gonna keep saying fun bc it really is so infectious ) they invite musician friends to Jam with them. Their new song "23" is great , and they also did an acoustic-ish version for it that is YEP F U N As heck! Oh to seeing them live is an experience...so much fun! You like the horns? Check out their Freckles live .
An absolutely amazing group. Ive been loving them for a while now. They do some insane acoustic live versions of their songs too.. The Weather, Im Confident Im Insecure, 23, etc. you should go down the rabbit hole... you'll love it.
i really hope you checked out lawrences "Acoustic-ish" series of 4-5 of their songs, whether you make reaction videos about them is irrelevant; you were as blown away by this group as i was and their acoustic versions with an incredible group of musicians and singers is such a wonderful twist (improvement in my opinion)that you will almost certainly love them.
The Acoustic version of this is absolute fire.
Incredible
Album version is great, this version is FIRE. Completely agree.
@@jimmi114 Yes, but the acoustic version is even better.
Yes the acoustic is absolute fire. But this one is awesome too. Also The Weather!
Blue-Eyed Soul reactions are my favorite. Everybody underestimates Lawrence the first time they see them. Then Gracie opens her mouth 😂

Lawrence has very quickly become my favorite band. Incredible talent!!!
That is why I love your reactions. Judging by your face, you feel what I feel when I hear this kind of singing

Yes! You definitely need to react to their acoustic videos! Especially Insecure
Lawrence is honestly amazing, modern music with soul
They have a "Live and Let Die" cover live that is amazing!
Love seeing them live. Always a phenomenal show.
They are just killing it.🎶🎸🎷

Everything’s spot on but the place of origin. They’re New York City kids. Grew up Upper West Side, I think. And now some of them live in Brooklyn.
Awesome ❤️🔥
