    Hi Sir,
    Thanks for the valuable comparision.
    In ReAssure 2.0, if I take 10Lacs coverage and if I file claim at 4th year for 6 lacs. Then based on NCB at 4th year I will be having 40 lacs coverage post claim settlement now coverage will be 34 lacs, will this be carry forwarded to subsequent years till 5x or 10x based on type of plan. Please clarify.

    In niva bhupa reassure 2.0 it is mentioned that, we will NOT pay for automation machine for peritoneal dialysis(4.2.1)
    And it is mention that, we will pay for peritoneal dialysis taken at home. (4.4.3)
    statements are not quite clear. Could you please help?

    If reassure+ automatically restores sum insured (eg. 10 lakh) unlimited times in a year, whats the benefit of carry forwarding unutilised balance through booster+ ? We will anyways have unlimited restoration of 10 lakhs right?

Restore forever is unlimited restoration but will be maximum up to sum assured in a single claim whereas accumulated sum assured in booster plus can be used in single hospitalisation for example Liver transplant where the total treatment cost is around 30-40Lakh in a single hospitalisation.

      Diabetes and hypertension are covered in both policies but if these ailments are pre-existing then in Reassure 2.o will be covered from day one while opting for the disease management rider whereas in Care supreme there will be a waiting period of 4 years for pre-existing disease.

    U didnt understand the main nd most important diff between restoration... In niva bupa every claim ll be equal to base si+ bonus + restoration (which ll be equal to base si) whras in hdfc and care plan eaxh claim ll be eqaul to base si+bonus... Restoration amount ll nly be applicable till the total of of the two and beyond that it wont be covered even though there is amount left to be utilised in restore amount... The remaining restore amt ll hv to be used in the 3rd claim if its not unltd restoration...

I ll gve u an eg for bttr understanding for a si of 10lac(bonus amt bring zero) ...for a 1st claim of 7lac which ll be paid frm the si and restore benefit of 10lac(si) ll trigger fr bth plans i.e niva and others and si left ll be 3lac...fr a 2nd claim of say 13 lac niva ll pay full 13 (3 frm si and 10 frm restore) whr as others ll pay nly 10lac (equal to base si) 3lac frm remaining si and 7lac frm restore amt evn tho restore amt is 10lac cos max amount fr any claim is capped till si +bonus if any, in ths case 10lac...the balance 3 lac ll be paid frm pocket... The remaining 3 lac frm restore can be used for the 3rd claim if its only one reatore plus policy year nd in case of unltd it ll be ten lacs... Nw did u get the difference wt i mean... Niva full restore amt cn be used but nt in other policies (nly till si+bonus)

    What is the benefit of restoration in 10 lakh plan in single hospitalization if claim comes for 25 lakh in a single claim. The patient will be discharged in first year 3 times. What do you suggest? A health insurance plan should be of 20 lakh or more? This plans will not work for a bigger claim in one hospitalization suggest.

If a single hospitalisation bill is 25Lakh in 10Lakh sum assured policy then 10Lakh will be paid by the insurer and balance of 15Lakh has to be beared by the customer. After that customers can unlimited nos of claim but each claim can be up to 10Lakh only.

    Hi Sir,
    Thanks for the valuable comparision.
    In ReAssure 2.0, if I take 10Lacs coverage and if I file claim at 4th year for 6 lacs. Then based on NCB at 4th year I will be having 40 lacs coverage post claim settlement now coverage will be 34 lacs, will this be carry forwarded to subsequent years till 5x or 10x based on type of plan. Please clarify.

      Yes you are right after settlement of Rs 6Lakh you will have the balance sum assured 34 including base sum assured and booster plus .
