I have the same helmet which also gave me a sour forehead. Hoped it would break in fast but no: the pain kept coming. Eventually i removed the inner liner, took a hammer and pounded on the foam which caused the pain. The foam is harder than you might think!! Nowadays i still have the form of the inner liner in my bald head when i take off the helmet but the pain is gone. I know now that the Schubert C3 Pro and the Scorpion ExoTech Evo have the right inner form for my skull. It doesn't matter if you like a helmet: it's like gloves and shoes: they have to FIT right....😊
I gave up on this helmet after a year. It felt good for almost an hour and then caused pain across my head. It must be the wrong shape for me. All the features were awesome and I wanted to love it. I even bought a wire foam cutter from Amazon to try to remove a little foam in the offending area. It didn’t help and I am aware it would be less protective.
I had the same issue with Shark. The issue is the fact some of us have more of a round head, and some of us have a more oval shaped head. I was told my Shark helmet was designed for individuals with a round shaped head and if it was causing that much discomfort, I probably had more of an oval shaped head. I believe I read somewhere in my research for a comfortable full modular helmet that LS offers helmets for both the round or oval shaped head. It is now August 2024, and I am still searching for a full modular helmet like Shark and the LS 2. My other issue with Shark was the weight of the helmet. My helmet definitely hurt my forehead for a while but luckily or unluckily, I bought it right before a long trip so it got broken in quick, and I like it now.
