Seeing my shiny ho oh next to the sunset at the crown tundra tree. It’s the most beautiful sight I’ve ever seen in a Pokémon game.
I'm looking forward to seeing my shiny latias in the over world, I'm at 90+ encounters so far

It sucks when you go online with random people and they end up as bad as npc's... like why did someone take a gloom right before the flying type legendary??? What was the thought process???

No the worst are the ones that attack members of the group every single that happened to me on three separate occasions
That’s not as bad as when my teammates want to fight a fire type when they all chose grass types like they fr go dur
someone left the game session when we encountered the third pokemon and then boom! i was left on my own to fight the legendary then i got a random shiny
Something to note is that you have to do online to get the legends from the opposite game, like Dialga or Solgaleo in Shield. Though you could just do one online then save them for offline

How do you do that? if you join someone else’s dynamax adventure do you also get to keep the legendary they’re hunting or what?
How do you enter someone's else dinamax aventure? I need the Pkm Sword exclusive legends and I don't know how. I have never seen one Dinamax adventures stamp at Y-comm section and I can invite others but I don't know how to enter to a random raid (without a code)
Depends who it is you’re hunting. If it’s zygarde, just do it online with friends. If you’re hunting something like guzzlord, who loses half health from one fairy move, skip the battle before the boss and save a couple minutes
I feel that online is just better, because you have a higher clear rate. I might be able to do the adventure faster, but if I am failing a bunch of those might as well just take the extra few minutes to insure the legendary capture.
Agreed it definitely depends on the mon and a little bit of rng on what your choices are and how much the npcs decide to throw
@@AzureBones yeah the mon play a big factor to. Like zygrade, they are next to impossible with NPCs. It's better to just run with even just randoms because you'll get more clears.

@@starlight0313 oh yeah with zygrade you'll still get a lot of fails using randoms, but in the long run you'll still get more clears than npc. I ran like 50 with NPCs and got like one clear.

From my experience, it depends on the pokémon you are hunting. I am currently hunting entei, which is really easy so the NPCs dont even bother. However, dont hunt pokémon like kyogre or zygarde offline, they are so powerful that you need players to spam things like wide guard and use terrains to halve damage

This solves the mystery of why I keep getting "communication with the other trainer has been interrupted" error messages and lose my online team one or two 'mons before the legendary, which definitely isn't super annoying _in the slightest._ (/s) It happened earlier today when I was in a Dialga den and I had to go against him essentially "alone" with a Trevenant with Drain Punch, Giga Drain, and two support moves. One NPC kept spamming Wide Guard with her Mienshao (?) instead of attacking, and the others kept using NVE moves. Ended up using all 10 turns and losing when it had around 15% health left -_-

Same for me too. I got really lucky to get a shiny tornadus and few shiny pokemon but now Im in a shiny drought myself. As a matter of fact Im hunting for a shiny uxie and it is pain.

Quick question when you beat Ho--oh and it doesn't shine, if you don't take him, will the game stop you from redoing the den and you have to reset? or is it like you catch, dont keep and repeat?
No reset after you don’t pick it the scientist asks if you want to save the path and you just do it again

How about when we compare odds gen 7 & 8?
I mean shiny rate gen 7 legen is 1/1365, so at least get one, I need: 1365 times x approx 30s/each soft reset = 682 mins
and rate gen 8 legend is 1/100, so that 100 x approx 18min/each adventure = 1800 mins

I think everyone is already on board with doing it with human players.. getting all the right mons stacked on the party.. then ditching each other on the last mon before the legendary on a type that isn't weak to it so if the comp decides to pick it up it won't get destroyed immediately. This avoids any potential deaths and you go in fresh into the final with plenty of room to chip the boss down.
This also auto puts you in next Dynamax stage for the legendary

So I've been playing with a group of friends and we've been alternating between online and offline and so far I've actually found significantly more shinies playing solo, we still all find them when we play as a group but we just find more on our own
But the npcs be throwing the games or either u get a mon with shit moves .

As someone who's done alot of shiny hunting and shiny raiding in the previous DLC and the base game, I think the sleep method is probably ideal for me. I already have alot of the shinies that I could face on the way to the boss, and the ones I don't have I probably didn't want them (Unfezant springs to mind).

Can you only catch one of the legendaries? Because I just had my 1st run at this Adventure stuff and took Suicune with me, like any normal human being would.

Yes unfortunately you can only keep it once so now if you go back in it won’t let you catch suicune. And I agree I wish there was at least a bit of a better warning

Did well over 100 Solgaleo raids for with the shiny charm still no shiny. Any tips? Am i doing something wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong it's just rng going over odds in shiny hunting happens I was at 99 when I got my ho-oh and just crossed 100 on zygarde with no shinys yet just keep at it and it will eventually shine good luck!

I just do the dynamax adventure. I can also confirm you can soft reset to keep your pokeballs in case you want to use a rare ball for your legendaries.
I'm shiny hunting for a rayquaza, none of my friends play sword and shield, so, do you think I play with randoms, or NPC's. I'm really stuck (and also I don't use discord so I can't play with others there). Rayquaza has been super easy to take down on randomds but idunno. What would you say? Whats ur advice?
You should be fine with randoms or even alone raquaza isn’t the hardest I think you can do it man!!!

If you release a legendary can you recatch it later? Like I grabbed a non shiny suicune and kinda want shiny suicune now. If I released it, could I catch it in the next encounter?
No you can’t you would have to make a new profile and catch it on that transfer through home unfortunately

I wouldn't share the exploit people do it online even if they're not friends and it messes up peoples games with the sleep mode thing I had people do it to me and it really messed up my runs and kicks everyone out and I hate dealing with A'i trainers when they cant cheer or Dynamax plus it might make the company mad and ban people for doing it so please just do it with friends or offline don't do that sleep mode with randoms its a troll move
It won't work offline, but just doing it with friends or people you can actively communicate with is still an option.

Are now that the dlc came all moves available or are there still moves you can't have?
There's still moves banned like Hidden Power, Return, Pursuit, etc
What I have been doing is get an ideal path, then run it quickly catch all 4, check catch screen and then if I have enough ore if no shinies at catch screen I close out game there to re roll

@@arbawi4ever96 I’ve been doing offline with battle effects off, but sometimes you will lose because your CPU decides to switch to a grass type last minute and swap out his water type when the legendary is fire type. If you’re looking for consistent legendary wins I’d go for online😊
Do you have the shiny charm? By default shinies from max lair are 1/300 but with the charm its 1/100.
So never keep a legendary unless it’s shiny???
Doing it online with people takes me on avarage 20 minutes. This usually ends in 90% win rate. Fastest way for me is go offline, turn off animations and blast through. This take between 8-10 minutes. BUT, the win rate is quite low. Maybe 55%. The computer is so dumb it hurts. So im not sure what i think is better. Pretty much a guaranteed win with the longest time to win, or go offline and blast through alone with poor win rate. I switch between both.
Yeah I won all 3 I tried offline but yeah the cpu really messes you up sometimes

I know it's late but i got shiny xerneas with npcs after 15 adventures and now im hunting suicune and in 40 adventures just 2-3 failed so i think offline it's faster but pokemon like zygarde cant be shiny hunted offline
PS i tryed Ho-Oh and in 30 try he often beat us with npcs
If you say this shiny hunting method is too easy, it’s definitely not easier it’s juts less time consuming but at the same time it still takes a while 😩😩

Regarding the online "exploit"... Let's say you started to play online and you are down to 1 last life. Does doing the exploit, getting out of the online team and continuing the game with the NPC "resets" the life counter? Or are you still down with the final life with the NPC?

Hello, I been wondering if soft resetting, meaning resetting after finding out the legendary is not a shiny, is not a legit way to get them as shiny. I want a certain legendary in a rare pokeball and I been doing it for 2 days haha.
Soft resetting actually penalises you in this case! I believe it takes some of your dynite ore? The best way to do it is to redo the whole run until you've found your shiny :)
@@Brioche1212 thanks but I found a solution that when you battle a random adventure raid, it resets so every 3 raids, I do it haha. But thanks though, I just want a specific ball for the shiny.

Skip method testing is flawed. If you skip the first one every time you essentially go into offline mode but you get to skip the first one. Pretty confident that is the fastest method
It is a little faster to skip the first one but I’ve actually tested both and it’s still slower then just playing offline

My shiny hunts in Pokemon Crystal have been more lucky then the Dynamax adventures with the shiny charm
What are the shiny odds without the shiny charm? My buddy and I are hunting a Tapu Fini right now but we’re on a file with no shiny charm. Any ideas help?
Without shiny charm odds are 1/300

If ur cheeseing the game and making a 2 account to farm shinies u can always just pass ur Pokédex through the pokemon home

From the dynamax adventures no they are all available as shiny
I have done 500+ encounters offline and no legendary shiny since my Guzzlord. I'll keep grinding but man it's so discouraging.
