Here's an issue I've got with the definition of "Kekkei Genkai". It literally translates as "blood-line trait", but in the anime its explained as a "combination of 2 chakra natures". Then what two natures make up ocular jutsus? Or Kaguya clans jutsu? Jugo's nature energy? There are more kekkei genkais then there are nature transformations, even if we include yin and yang being mixed with the basic 5.
Ocular are bloodline. But not exactly any chakra nature. Those are pure genetics. Because think about it. What chakra nature would Sharigan be? Can’t tell. Although when higher levels of sharigan are unlocked they unlock unique abilities to that person specifically.
I personally believe ocular Jutsu are various combinations of yin, yang, and yin-yang releases. Hugo’s is a mix of nature and spiritual chakra and different amounts of certain chakra natures when combined have different effects

It bothers me that sometimes it is a very cool power inherited by your unique genes, and then you hear that it's just a special combo of chakra natures that doesn't even make sense most of the time... They first said that Haku's ice was like a sharingan, that it was a unique ability from his clan that couldn't be learned without the gene. The author should have kept that simple definition, it just made things messy by trying to make things sound complex and smart... It makes the concept of clans way more coherent and cool, especially when thinking about the lost ''Kekkei Genkais'' that built Konoha (Wood style, Adamantine sealing chains and Sharingan) because we know they are lost for ever... It doesn't make sense to bring chakra natures there because that means that every special ability related to a clan is used with a combo of chakras, like Shino's. Don't tell me that when Shino is comanding his bugs it is a combination of air and earth haha! It should have been a simple and rare talent that goes off the charts, like in the begining, which would have made the concepts of ''protecting your clan's jutsus'' and ''destroying the body of the fallen'' way more coherent and powerful. But it's still a very cool idea to do combos like that, so it would have been nice to separate the two ideas or regulate it better so that it would make more sense
Actually I do think that Garra when Chukaku was still inside him that he was using the tail beast Magnet release but when it was extracted from him that is when his own magnet release awaken A hiden proof of this is the form and shape of "the desert hand jutsu" you will see that it's different depending on when you see him use that jutsu

At first I thought the way gaara controlled his sand was with the blood that got mixed in it when he killed people with it. The sand he controlled out of his gourd was mixed with blood and blood has iron in it therefore it would make it possible for him to control that sand if it was mixed with iron. But some types of sand also have iron mixed in it naturally and that could be what he’s using.
Magnet and Explosion release's chakra combination's should've been swapped. I know the only reason they aren't is because Magnet release is associated with the Hidden Sand and Explosion with the Hidden Stone.

He doesnt need to be reanimated. If a tailed beast dies, they are reincarnated once their chakra gathers. That was stated somewhere, but I forgot where.

Just wanna add a small comment about the video. First thing, the Kurama clan is not named after the nine tails per se, bc nobody ever asked Kurama its name. Son Goku confirms that when he first met Naruto. Other than that, the video was amazing, great energy, well explained, etc.
I’m making a last of every clan (and possible clan through solo characters) by Village (if they’re from a small or unknown village, their closer, larger relative village will take claim to the their clan on the list. Clans that have split between villages will be accounted for in both or all villages.
You also forgot the shadow possession kekei genkai and the yamanaka thing. I am sure there are others but those are just off the top o my head. Fun video none the less

Mud release is actually inherited by people that take laxitives. It is not exclusively a shinobi feat.
I mastered gas release .. but I have to drink certain drinks to build enough gas chakra. Most mexican have this kekkai genkai natively.

No the byakugan has to be intensively trained for it to be activated. Hyashi said so himself in Boruto

they cant predict the future but they can tell what your ganna do while your doing it, for example when sasuke started using sharingan vs naruto he said something like "this is amazing, i know everything hes ganna do"

so i know its a little late to comment on this vid, but here goes, doesn't Kakashi use mud release? His mud wall, and to the point of it sharing the same elements as wood, what if mud release is just the way more common combination and wood release is the odd ball, i mean woo release is supposed to be super rare only being done by Hashirama, and then everyone else because of his cells

Could still release be a earth and yang release? Earth providing access to the iron, and yang energy allowing it to be enhanced into steel and given shape? Same with typhoon release, couldn't it just be wind release combined with Yang release to give it more force? I honestly do not know, can KeKei genkai only be two nature energies combined? It seems to me like combining nature and yin/yang energy opens up a plethora more options and explanations. Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if we really thought about it that were the case kekei tota might actually be most of what we thought were kekei genkai. Like mud release is earth and water, but would release was earth water and Yang.
I think steel sand typhoon make more sense if they are just accessible to people with extreme affinity to earth or wind respectively.

I have a question. Can Kurama be revived through reanimation and then reject the summon like Madara did? Then technically you'd have an unlimited chakra beast but I have my doubts making a reanimation a jinchurriki

If a tailed beast dies, they are reincarnated once their chakra gathers. That was stated somewhere, but I forgot where.

Another reason why magnet release would be used for sand is the opposite, I always assumed that it was sand manipulation that evolved into magnet release, at least when you apply electric chakra to the jitsu that already allowed you to manipulate sand
I think steel release is another Fire-Earth combination, it'd make sense, kinda like smelting

Just wanna add a small comment about the video. First thing, the Kurama clan is not named after the nine tails per se, bc nobody ever asked Kurama its name. Son Goku confirms that when he first met Naruto. Other than that, the video was amazing, great energy, well explained, etc.

Didn't Hiruzen use mud release in his battle against Orochimaru, I distinctively recall seeing it on the roof they battled on, he even used a mud dragon jutsu which he combined with fire style
