I seriously just discovered this guy 2 days ago and it infuriates me that I didn't hear him sooner! Now I can't stop listening...and the video truly gives me all the feels!
I never knew of this song until it played on my Spotify playlist one day during a bad day at work filled with stress and pressure from deadlines that had to be completed within a 60 day time limit with 4 of us then 1 walks out leaving just 3 of us. This song was on repeat for most of the day I have called a local radio station requesting this song to be played would recommend you do the same.
I have sat here, and honestly just taken in this beauty of a song, I’ve listened hundreds of times, and there is just something about it, it draws me in and keeps me here, it makes me sad, yet happy at the same time, it makes me miss everyone in my life, it makes me want to go do something crazy, be a different person, make full use of my time, hang on to my girlfriend with all my heart, it makes me see things differently... I am trapped by this song, it is truly a work of art, I applaud you.
this is my exact definition of his song beige. it’s so beautiful. i usually get tired of songs after a while but it’s been nearly a year and i can’t stop listening.
Amaury Perez lmaooo we’ve broken up since then but this song still is a bop, i now associate it with the memory of her but remembering occasionally isn’t such a bad thing ahaha, ive moved on the heart has healed and life is once again good! keep a positive mindset ! cheers mate
Rarely do you find an artist who's music video truly captures the beauty of the song. This is one of the rare times. I watched the music videos after listening to the songs for a while and all the music videos are just amazing I can't even describe it with words.
Am I the only who can’t help but cry while watching the video? The song is lovely and bittersweet, and the video brings it to life in such an emotionally affecting way.
I think this video amazingly depicts his meaning of the song. It’s genius with the VR, really. “I’ll be howling keeping you between me eyes there I’ll be alright” He’s trying so much to feel so happy with this imagination, keeping the video between his eyes trying to stay in the moment. It’s heartbreaking but beautiful at the same time.
You know you've found something special when just after a couple listens the songs get stuck in a welcome way in your head all day. This is one of those.
The Smiling Titan Sama What I think he’s saying is that the grass stains we would get as children when playing was good pain because it was from childhood which many people hold dearly, and it means he can’t be fazed because as a child your unbothered by any real problems in life
@@Schnoogens525 yall will have a blast. The concert was unforgettable. The crowd was so hyped and it was the best time. Enjoy. Write back after and let me know what ya'll thought.
It's one of the most impactful songs I've ever heard. by far the best song of 2017. just when I think no other songs will replace my favorites ...I stumbled onto this!!!! The video is the essence of Art..smothers you with so many feelings and moves with the music. I love it. good job guys.
Literally one of my favorite songs and it was in my top 5 listened to on my spotify wrap. This needs SO MUCH more attention!!! I love this! It makes me happy every time I hear it.
This is the Kind of Song that would Play at the end of a Tv show, while the Camera Zooms out and moves away from the Protagonist Walking down some street at night
We know where all the red ferns grow Two feet against me, but beyond my reach Six keys, one whole heart for each, one whole wave for me Grass stains cut my bloody knees, it’s goodpain it means I can’t be phased That little death inside my sides won’t make it right He wins every time I find myself inside, alone all night I’ll be howling keeping you between my eyes, there I’ll be alright I’ll be howling keeping you between my eyes, there I’ll be alright Rorschach the pieces that I lack I felt stained, cold beneath the waves, behind my suchered face Cursed down, throw my certain doubt, let me let you down That little death inside my sides won’t make it right He wins every time I find myself inside, alone all night I’ll be howling keeping you between my eyes, there I’ll be alright I’ll be howling keeping you between my eyes, there I’ll be alright
Apologies if I'm mistaken......."we know where all the red ferns grow, 2 feet, against me, beyond my reach..." I was wondering what this meant, found/figured out that it references the book "where the red ferns grow by Wilson Rawls" in which(havnt read it myself) a boy buys two dogs, and I guess they die, because he buries them next to each other and a red fern grows between them. Red ferns according to the book are planted by angels. So I figure the line "...beyond my reach.." means death. I could flesh it out a bit more, hope it makes sense, I might be wrong, but damn what a good song! Gees en vrede
Love this song so much. I come back to it again and again. One line just sticks with me - “grass stains cut my bloody knees, it’s good pain, it means I can’t be phased.” Like when you’ve moved past your grief or pain enough that it doesn’t completely overtake you and overwhelm you, but at the same time you’re not numb to your feelings and your pain
Beautiful. A creative writing student recommended this song to me and our class. And that's why I keep teaching. I never fail to learn from my most perceptive students.
This music makes me wanna cry, but also comes with an impressively sense of happiness. Specially when I remember the first time I listened... I miss them
Posted this on my Facebook saying it hit me right in my feels. Tried to say, time flys bye and I love my son and daughter...but I couldn’t type it without crying, so I just put it hits you in the feels. love, love!
This song always reminds me of my dog, who we had to put down a month and a half ago. It made me so hopeful when he was still alive and it made me so sad when he was gone. There's something about this song that just speaks to me. Something about the music. I haven't even watched the music video until now.
This song and video hold a place in me for being one of those things that cheers me up and revives cherished memories when I find myself thinking about my now years late wife. Thank you for that.
I found this song recently and I felt in love with it from the first time I heard it. I looked for the video and it got me so emotional. What an amazing work. True artist
Your music has been a lighthouse in a dark period of my life. The music I didn't know I needed and the music that has been on repeat the past 6 months. The music videos I can't stop watching and the dance moves I can't help but replicate when I'm jamming out. I'm so intrigued and in awe of how you have touched my soul, how insanely talented and authentic you are. Forever grateful for your existence. Keep making magic and touching lives 🌌💜🎶
I only just heard Beige by chance recently and immediately listened to everything that I could. Love this one and Such a beautifully bittersweet video concept. ❤️
So sad, it gives you a sense of past present and future...when you get older all that youth and innocence has gone and to just look back at it through collected memories in a video game like setting...I mean maybe that's the future (uploading old memories into a format or something to view and remember when we get older and to re experience) ...ugh touching me in my feels.
Ok, but can we all agree this is totally underrated?

I'm surprised this has so little exposure. It's like a hidden gem of a song.
It was on the radio
I knew about it before tho
I hope you get the fame you deserve one day man

Sometimed over fame will ruin the goodness inside some artists. I hope it wont happen. It’s better to see him like this.

Meaning?
*fazed

and the "2 feet, against me, beyond my reach" could mean standing at the grave at their feet. Close but out of reach...
So are you saying the meaning of the music video is a guy going back to his old memories of when he met his lover before she died?
