There is no entry in cards, no route, only vague information.
    ⬇️More information below! ⬇️
But today I finally made it!
I'll take you on a search for the unknown cave on the Untersberg!
    All the best,
    Vanessa

We dont always like it when roads are put in . It does not always make sense to us . But in this case , I believe the road was built for good reason. Fire fighters need to be able to get in and out during emergencies and so do search and rescue teams . Be kind to the folks that installed the road . Find out why .

A great day for Mr. & Mrs. Wild Woman, I'm glad Vanessa had quality technical support and assistance on this adventure. We do not want our favorite frauline to be in a bad situation without help near by. Your mountain and forest are so very similar to mine, I thought terrain and plant life would be much diffrent , but no, everything looks like here in USA pacific north west.

Not cave bear scratches. That is sign of mining of cave minerals. These are known from paleolithic times. The scratching was done with assorted tools, including bear claws, but mostly antlers and bone or other hard items like shell. They often used a fat-lamp made from a shell for light, or some other contrivance. You seem healthier and more recovered from your tick-disease. Godspeed your continued recovery!

Hi Vanessa, the beautiful drone video , and the rumble of distant thunder, sets the scene for what's about to unfold. I'm so glad to see you back to your old, beautiful, super fit, self, which you had to be for this, one hell of an adventure! Deforestation, to build a road to nowhere, where exactly is the respect, the sign is calling for, and so upsetting for you. Some of these climbs look really treacherous, and even more so with a camera in your hand. At some points, it looked like you needed abseiling ropes, as it was so steep and loose ground. I'm so happy for you to have finally found your cave after so long. You've proved just how fit you are by crawling around inside! Yes. I could see the rocks glistening with minerals, and what looked like evidence of bats, and possibly bears. I'm sure you've burned a lot of calories, because I'm out of breath, just watching. Thank you for the enormous effort to create this beautiful video for the world to enjoy. You're an incredible human being, who brightens up our lives.🌹💗💑💑💗🌹

Hey Vanessa, I liked it. Theres these caverns called Jessie James Hideout in Stanton Missouri. In the 60's they would take small groups with light helmet and a jump suit threw a few tight spots, then opened up to a very large cave with a lake and an island with a log cabin on it. That was the original hideout. They don't take the public down in there anymore.

I Finally got to view the video! The cave was cool and historically interesting. I would never have known anything about the history of the cave or even that it existed without you. That is one of the special things you do for all of us. A glimpse into another part of the world. Thought maybe you would find some articles from when it was used in the war but obviously others have been there. Maybe try metal detecting? Never know what you might find now that you did the hard part of finding the cave. Thanks again Vanessa for bringing me into a small part of your world over there.

Great video. I went up Untersberg a few years ago, using the cable car, but there was snow and a thick fog so we saw nothing. Untersberg mountain is very interesting because some people think it holds many secrets and even special powers. There are many stories and myths. Quite a few people have disappeared and there are many cave systems and caverns here. There are also stories about dwarves and dragons here. It is such a beautiful place. I live in a similar environment near the Pyrenees, but you cannot explore the forests much because there is a very dense ans prickly undergrowth.

Glad you found your cave 🙂
I have a cave a couple of miles from me, tourist attraction and closed off until the tours are running. My great grandmother, grandmother and my dad (was just one year old then) stayed there in little bunk beds and a cot, for a boxed off area during the WW2 air raids. My grandfather paid for them yo stay there, because they didn't own an Anderson Shelter in the back garden. This one was used by the druids etc, so quite old. Great video....even though you found no bat's 😂❤️

That is a well hidden cave and I can understand the people of the local village coming there to hide out during any bombing in the area during WWII. The Nazi's probably had a factory or military installation in the area and the allies was trying to destroy it. You was successful and I am glad you found what you was looking for and some people probably used the smaller caves also to hide in and trying to sleep through any attacks.

As you struggle down the hill at the end, I think we're starting to see where climbing & rappelling experience comes in handy....

This was a very fun video .I enjoyed looking for the cave when you really didn’t know where it was. Looked like some rough climbing to get there! It was a very good cave to see not too big but interesting. Glad you found it, thanks for this video🎩

A god idea when entering a cave, is to have a trusted buddy along for help, and to securely tie the end of a ball of twine to something, and unwind it behind yourself.
