Update: The version that will hit the USA market will be $6,999 and take about a month to get here. Ventus is estimating June 14th ETA. It will be configured with the 72v 50ah battery and motor capable of 27kw (like we rode) but likely tuned to 20kw out of the box. The production version will most likely have FastAce suspension and a 16" rear wheel, which is great news. All VTB power parts (motor, controller, and battery) are currently on our website and be available for pre-order later this week to fit Surron Light Bee and Ultra Bee + Talaria Sting MX3/MX4. Search VTB on our website to find the full list of parts.

Better video than Sur Ronster.. you guys and Talaria Boys are my go to for legit info.. I've sent a few of my subscribers your way. Keep up the good work!
@outon2s you're not cruising at 28kw, brother. No current motor or controller can hold that current and kW for a long period of time. 28kw is unridable for a long period, the bikes aren't designed to, and neither will the power hold for an extended period of time. Certainly ain't riding 28kw off road 🤣🤣
What good is all that power if it’s still using ebike designs? Linkage, frame, swingarm, linkage designs that break. It should be designed as a dirtbike first before the power. For example rocker linkages under the frame instead of the triangle and linkage that these ebikes have.
Valid point, but what bike in the #emoto market has that design to bolt this up? Ventus used a bike that exists today to launch their parts AND is popular enough in the small bike market to actually sell. If the small electric motorcycle category doesn't work for you, then an upgraded Ultra Bee or upcoming Dust Moto might be more suited to your needs. Keep in mind they'll cost you several thousand dollars more until you hit the Stark Varg price point.
@@ChargedCycleWorks the point is this is a v8 in miata with offroad tires. its going to destroy itself and its rider instead of having any kind of longevity or reliability
Yeah fr you got a point like why don't I just find a dirtbike on marketplace or sum with no motor for cheap then buy the Ventus kit how much u think that would be$?🤔
The thing about this is that these things are all based on the surron light bee X platform, a bike that (when stock) is designed to max out at 75kph, which is the top end of downhill mtb speeds. Its fine at those speeds but people push them WAY past that limit without upgrading the frame and suspension.
My Surron rattled loose bolts when I took it off road. I heard the rattle and laughed at the familiar noise but surprised when you said Surron’s didn’t do that
Surron's factory quality is better than other brands, but everything rattles loose on every bike over time. Surron just happens to use locktite more than most
That display is so good I've been waiting for one of these companies to put a real moto style display. I'm not a fan at all of the eggrider the Torp or Ebmx use, this one blows them out of the water!
You guys should turn it into a KTM hybrid like you guys did with the surron you guys already have the battery controller and motor just need to figure everything else out
Question....I just bought a Chi 72v40ah Surge battery and I need to decide on the controller/motor combo. Money is no object for this build. I've got it narrowed between the EBMX 9000 with the EBMX motor, or a Torp TC500/1000 with a Torp motor. The more reviews I watch the harder time I have choosing. Cate to put your thumb on the scale? So let me get this straight. Ventus bult a 28kw powered bike and it's safety features are cheap parts like the brakes and suspension. If the bike parts can't handle the power, seems like a serious lawsuit in Ventus's future. Lets go with the parts list that needs to be replaced right out of the box. Suspension $3000, Rims and tires, $1500, Brakes, $1000 And a bike with that much power It should stock come with a Chain drive. $100. $5600 in safety parts they cheaped out on. I can understand cheapen out but the brakes, come on you need brakes That's a must . Other than that the only thing I don't like about the bike is the headlight. I like it has different modes to which other bikes don't have but having them on the light itself to me is not good for me. I'd rather have them on the bars where they are easily accessable.
That's the strangest defense I ever heard. "They put shitty parts on the bikes because they knew the owner is just going to be upgrading?" Did that come out right?
Could've been worded better, I think the point we were trying to get across is if you're looking for a 25Kw powertrain, this bike is a good starting point to achieve that. If you really want to ride this bike anywhere near 25Kw then you definitely need to upgrade the suspension and wheels.
28kw too much for dirt but for supermoto that's 150R slaying power. I've raced my Light Bee at 22kw and it rips coming out the corners. If the parts fit a Light Bee how much is the 72V/50AH battery? The battery is always the most expensive components.
I think this thing would be way faster than even a 250. You have to remember it weighs so much less. Also you don't have to worry about shifting ever, always perfect power band
