  • Lo, how a rose e'er blooming,
    From tender stem hath sprung.
    Of Jesse's lineage coming,
    As men of old have sung;
    It came, a flow'ret bright,
    Amid the cold of winter,
    When half spent was the night.
    Isaiah 'twas foretold it,
    The Rose I have in mind,
    With Mary we behold it,
    The virgin mother kind;
    To show God's love aright,
    She bore to us a Savior,
    When half spent was the night.

    So beautiful! I immediately felt the Presence of God and His Love for mankind as He grew within the Most Pure Womb of the Holy Virgin. 🙏

    How beautiful yet simple and historical. 4 people with horns somehow reassure us that things will get better.

    So nice! My dad taught me to love music. Years ago, he sang in a quartet. They needed to practice this song for an upcoming event, but Dad had a cold. He asked me if I'd mind filling in for him in practice, so I did. I'd never heard this song before, but it was a beautiful experience singing it. Your beautiful performance reminds me of Dad!

    Is there any way to purchase the sheet music for this? My daughter plays trumpet and would like to start a brass ensemble at her middle school. Thank you!

    Incredible dynamics!
    Also, can we get that poor trombonist some real buttons for his jacket, or does it just slide on?

      Slide on, haha! No, they just got lost in the edit when "our video guy" clipped the shadows a little too hard. I guess we still have a ways to go in mastering that sort of dynamic range.
