It is wierd. This genre in general makes me think of a time I've never experienced, the blissful hedonism of the 1980's - in one way, we, the Baltics, didn't have the option to enjoy it, but at the same time this is the time we outsmarted the largest oppresive regime in the world (the Soviets) and regained our freedom without bloodshed. So I guess there is a nostalgic longing for this great time I wasn't even alive in and hardly anyone in my country experienced. I may be writing this after a couple of beers, but hell this is a mesmerising experience even on the 4th time I'm listening to this. Thanks, fish.
