there is no diesel engine in big mpv indonesia segment market now on (all gasoline engine).
probably won’t enter indonesia because the last model’s sales flopped. Furthermore, the delica doesn’t really fit the tastes of indonesian people and their lifestyles

it's called Dynamic Shield design language, a typical practice for car manufacturers and 1st seen at multiple mitsubishi concept cars prior to xpander. you can also see Mazda and Mercedes new cars all have the same front design on their own design language.

Every move since the L300 these become weaker.
L300 went to L400 where it lost solid axles, L400 facelifted to bigger bumper where it lost clearance, L400 went to D5 where it lost clearance & proper 4x4 underpinnings, now D5 facelifted to bigger bumper with less clearance.
Mitsubishi taking a unique product and turning into just another minibus.
I agree. Focus on off-roading. There are not many 4x4 vans to compete. That huge front bumper ain't got no clearance.

The van market in Japan is very competitive and most brands are focused on luxury and on-road dynamics. I suspect that is why Mitsubishi is making the Delica less off-road focused.
