- Streamed on December 29th 2023 on / gamesdonequick for GDQ Hotfix, this is a speedrun of Baldur's Gate 3 - All Acts in a marathon setting, including live commentary complete with an explanation of the run. I fully explain everything I'm doing in real time while I speedrun Baldur's Gate 3 in 34 minutes.
Thank you SO SO much to Chronos and Gyoo for helping with commentary, going live in front of 1400 people was absolutely nuts. You can check them out below.

I will also be at AGDQ 2024 for Baldur's Gate 3 on Saturday, January 20th! You can watch on GDQ's Twitch channel (in description) to see me live then.
LFG MAE!!!!!
Why are most these video just about sex speed run wtf😂
"HP manipulation" is my new favorite euphemism for murder.
Bhaal, the god of HP Manipulation! Patron of BG3 speedrunners!
Praise Bhaal!
your commentary is amazing! so excited for you to be at AGDQ, and congrats on all the success!
How do you get into speed running? Do you play the game normally a few times first and then try some tricks?
I think the number one thing for getting into speedrunning is passion for a particular game. I was extremely excited for BG3 to come out, barely slept for a week while I played it. I'm a massive D&D and tabletop nerd outside of speedrunning (Pathfinder especially!)
After beating it for the first time, I knew about Gale's early ending in Act 2 from the internet and I knew you didn't really have to do anything hard to get to Act 2, so I challenged myself to speedrun it for fun. Then I competed with Palmer for the record for a while, then Hears, then Taiyl, and it basically just grew from there while I developed a love for the run, the community, and the progression as time went on.
Loved the run and the great commentary :) It's epic how the community worked togheter in the 4 months to bring the run under a half hour. Let's see how far the community can bring the run down with new bugs and routes.
Great run! I have particularly enjoyed the Gortash fight, if you can call it that! :D
Great job on the run!
I noticed you're using an older route for this run (in that you actually enter the Gauntlet rather than just avoiding it entirely like in more current routes. Is this just for entertainment value for the GDQ audience (let them enjoy stuff like skipping all the trials, robbing Balthazar and tazing Ketheric with Witch Bolt), or is there a marathon safety component on this route as well?
The component in question is that I was too lazy to learn the new route in time for Hotfix LMFAO
@@maeeeeeee Fair enough. Looking forward to the new route at GDQ. That bear is just too damn large.
@@maeeeeeee Ah I was just about to ask something similar, I'd seen another speedrun of all acts honor mode that skipped the gauntlet of shar, so you going to it confused me!
I had no idea you could skip the final "tower ascent" with Misty Step ledge nudging; that's awesome. I may do that in my future playthroughs just because dealing with the Nautiloid barrages is obnoxious. Thanks for the tech, and congrats on the run! Looking forward to your AGDQ 2024 attempt as well. Cheers!
this run had to be unlucky so you can get a new world record at AGDQ proper
Embarrassed to say I missed the show but glad the VOD is here!
Amazing commentary. I love to see speedrun videos. But I'm always wondering what kind of tricks they do. You explain it wonderfully.
Just saw you at AGDQ, you are amazing!!!! Keep it up!!❤
Nice, time slipped me by to watch it live but super excited to see this.
