In this video, I will show you how I pick stocks. Let’s be honest, the stock market can be quite intimidating. Although the markets may appear complex, I believe that anyone can learn to invest and create a bright financial future for themselves.

My dividend journey began when I realized that two particular expenses in my budget were always going to go up and never go down. The two expenses were taxes and insurance. I realized that the dramatic rise in both will need some added income. So, I started buying shares paying dividends. I can now see that this will be the path I need to take to make sure those two expenses will not overtake my future income.
As a beginner, educate yourself, Learn the basics of investing and the stock market. There are many resources available online, including books, articles, and online courses. It’s a good idea to diversify your portfolio across different stocks and sectors to minimize risk. I’ve heard of people accruing over $550k during recessions and inflation, its important to do your own research.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850K.
This is definitely considerable! think you could suggest any professional/advisors i can get on the phone with? I'm in dire need of proper portfolio allocation.
Angela Lynn Shilling is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a caII.
During a bear market, the headlines will focus on negative news, whether it's declining economic growth, geopolitical upheaval, cultural and legal turmoil, or some combination of all three. I listened to a podcast of someone that grew his reserve from $120k to almost $460k during this Red season, can you share tips on how to make such aggressive proceeds in short periods?
Hey Nate, I can't wait for that 5 hours video about how to analyze a company, it would be the most important video for a beginner investor like me, so please, do that. Thanks for all the great videos! 🙏🏻

big yes for the video of the financial statement. thank you for sharing this info with us :D
Great comment on risk and reward. This is the secret sauce of investing. If you get great reward compared to risk you don’t have to be right very often to make a lot of money.
That's right. You can't predict the market. Invest on a constant basis and hold long term. Best tip.
Really??? The AVG. market leader falls 65% on a correction and almost NEVER returns to lead again so "long term" individual stock holding is a terrible idea...Kodac used to lead and is now bankrupt, remember Enron? Worldcom? Market leading companies that wrecker stores for financial magazines that went to ZERO quickly. IF you invest in individual stocks you need to actively manage the account. IF you invest in Mutual Funds there there ARE long term hold options.
Great overview, thanks! And yes, would love a video on analyzing financial statements :)
I'll definitely watch that 5-hour video on financial statement analysis! Your videos are so informative and helpful
I repositioned some of my dividend stocks using a broker. Now, I’m buying shares of TSLA, AMZN , AT&T, NVR again. I’m after dividends for passive income but it’s slow growth so now I’ll take my chances on growth stocks like SHLL, WKHS, PLNHF 1 From March I've been able to make a little above $400k.. I’m slowly buying fractional shares of BRK-A again, I made other few rather modest investments in individual companies.... I'll keep stacking TSLA stocks
Great picks Van, I'm happy to hear you talk about some of the positions I have in my portfolio..
I honestly find this difficult..I watch a few videos and follow then make a few picks and then the market has a different result on those picks and I get losses.

Totally agree!
One thing to be cautious of here is that maybe that skews you towards B2C models (businesses selling to consumers). Especially where we are in the market cycle now, we want to be avoiding highly discretionary products.
You don’t want to ignore businesses selling to other businesses - if they are selling mission critical services on recurring contracts, it can be a great business model.
I have a new channel where I will be covering some of this stuff too. This is my daily job and what I have done for over 10 years.

You can learn about balance sheet analysis but in order to invest successfully all you need to do is invest in a stock index fund!!
People need to study investors like Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger to become better investors
Agreed!!! Investing can get complicated on your own
@precious A if you choose that you shouldn't be surprised if during a recession you go down 40%
And during a bull market you go up only 7 or 8% a year
I agree, a lot of the inspiration on my channel comes from Buffett's teachings
@precious A I think that infdex funds are for people that either can't handle risk or just millionaires that don't want to lose money
Taking your example, you should also consider that if apple went 30% up
You, as an index fund investor may be up 0.5% profiting almost nothing
I think investing in index funds is a double edged sword
And I highly disagree with you for the last part
You don't have do be warren buffet to return more than 8% a year
If you know what you are doing.
But I also agree with you, these UA-cam channels make this process seem easy. Which is not
So when people invest and they see themselves in the red they panic and they sell, and that's why the majority of investors return less than the market average, they just don't know what they're doing
And especially now, it's easier than ever to invest, it's just a matter of clicks, people see that as a get rich quick thing, and they lose their money
I'm not saying that index funds are bad or anything like that, they aren't just good enough if you know what you are investing in.
Seth Klarmann has got to be on the list too!
Your Stock pick is one aspect while your strategies play the most role
If you are a market leader people follow your way,.
I totally agree with you

Hi Nate! Great video. I would love to see you going through the financial statements!
LOVE this Nate, its so important for people to start investing early especially in category disrupting companies. Timing the market is impossible but if you can invest consistently every month throughout your life in innovative companies, you'll have a huge stockpile of money waiting for you over the next 5-10 years 🤑🔥🚀
Starting to invest early is very important so that your money has time to compound!! Agree that timing the market is a mistake. Time in the market is what is required. You can invest in index funds and be plenty diversified.
Warren Buffett's life advise: "You have one body and one mind. If you want them to last a long time, then take care of them." People who want the quick fix or fast dollar aren't interested in feeding and taking care of their minds. I'm happy you pointed that out. It's important to understand this stuff as a whole. I appreciate you taking the time to explain it clearly! Thank you!
Love Warren Buffett quotes!! The man is a natural teacher.
Thank you so very much! I am doing it right afterall!! I am new at all of this and you are straight to the point and very informative!! Great job on being direct!! Have a fabulous day!!
You do well to invest for your future. Another way of investing is to pick the index fund so that you don't have to do all the hard work of financial analysis on individual companies.

Reading financial statements is interesting but it is like viewing backwards. The future is more difficult to predict. Better to invest in index funds in my opinion.
