“Ugly Delicious “ is such a great show. The slaughtering was ffwd but David Chang’s true passion about race and culture is so refreshing 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️
Amazing guy who owns bunches of restaurants and also won the million dollars for a charity on Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
I know I'm not the only one who loves that " CRUNCHY, OBVIOUSLY NOT GOOD FOR YOU BUT SO DELICIOUS" roasted chicken skin right from the oven. 🐔
"If machines produce everything we need, the outcome will depend on how things are distributed. Everyone can enjoy a life of luxurious leisure if the machine-produced wealth is shared, or most people can end up miserably poor if the machine-owners successfully lobby against wealth redistribution. So far, the trend seems to be toward the second option, with technology driving ever-increasing inequality."

True equality will never be a thing. It's just human nature.
@@NightFury327 That is a complete lie that ignores CENTURIES of civilization world wide and pretends the modern way of life is how life has always been. It’s simply NOT TRUE.
Machines were initially supposed to make our lives easier and reduce the entire families work week to 4-6 hours. A WEEK. The opposite has happened and it’s really sad- people now work more and more for less because a few people own all the capital 🤦🏾♀️
@@TahtahmesDiary Then how is that equality. You just proved my point right. Well done.
I still watch his show, "Ugly Delicious" on Netflix. Such a fun show on Food.
Really glad they're giving some positive press to cultivated meat
And all at once, the chickens squawked, "Soylent Green is chickennn (and maybe salmonnn)!!!"
This was so stupid I had to comment 🤣
I say it again Jimmy Reminds me of the best Latin American talk show host of all time _ Don Francisco - on Sabado Gigante, he was always up to date, on point , what really matters, and entertaining. Jimmy had to he watching Francisco at some point in his life lol
lol agree!
WHY does the title of this video sounds like he is eating a baby boy.
Technically, they *could* grow human baby meat in the lab for him...
I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed!
Vegans are SMH to that bad question, "Are you still vegan if you eat it?" Missing the whole point.
Futuristic meals are so close to becoming reality! Wow! Btw Jimmy is so darn handsome!!!
If you eat lab grown meat are you still a vegan? Yes. The answer is yes. If you're talking about an ethical vegan that is which should be the default when talking about vegans.
But here is my question- isn't it still chicken? Grown from chicken cells...? Doesn't that make it chicken?
Semantics trolls are so lame.
When Jurassic Park eventually happens, this is the clip they would show in the documentary on how it all started.
Seems like the nicest guy.
4:05 : Jimmy Kimmel Live, giving new meaning to T-Bones.
nice
Love how people are freaking out about “meat grown in a lab” without realizing their favorite billionaires have probably already invested a ton of money into the concept. There are always going to be innovations that start off as an unthinkably crazy idea
Is it as gross as the way factory farmed meat is made? That’s truly gross. That’s why it’s hard to find video and photos of it.
this always happened, when they invented the radio people freaked out, when they invented the television people freaked out, people always freak out when change happens
Lol "favorite billionaires"
I’m vegan and look forward to trying the cruelty free lab meat…
Booooooo
I’m a vegan and I love my current diet.
It’s the homie 💗
Not everyone has an automated dish washer... (...) ... or a microwave!
Thank goodness not the Jetsons, I don't want to have a hot fudge sundae pill.
"It is like jello"... but jello is made from hooves and bone ha ha 😎
Oh, David. Why Hulu? :(
Alex Jones will have a field day with the cloned meat.
Maybe rethink that title, guys
So why are they growing cuts to eat instead of organs doe
He ate a new baby??
Enjoyable show to watch and fun topic to share. Grilled meat with bbq sauce is super tasty :)
Robots replacing human in the workforce, ooh no....
@@kittymeow2434 The ingredients can be more precise and measurable ?

what i don't get is we already eat modified fruits and vegetables, google what a banana used to look like in the past before we got involved, but the crazys will always be loud
Not a vegan myself, but I suspect most vegans still wouldn't eat the stuff. Veganism doesn't just mean avoiding killing any animals. Cows and hens aren't killed to produce milk and eggs, both of which vegans avoid. So vegans would still avoid lab-cultivated meat since they were derived from actual animal cells.
Nah, I'm vegan and though the food is amazing, as soon as lab grown meat's available I'm gonna be the first one to buy it.
@@Dan-dp8em So do you eat dairy and eggs?
Looong time vegan here, would not eat cultivated meat any more than I'd eat live animal meat. But I'm a big fan & proponent of cultured, as meat production/animal husbandry as we currently know it is completely unsustainable. As climate change progresses & droughts become more frequent/severe, are we really going to want pump what water we have into supporting vast numbers of cows/pigs/chickens, as well as all the crops that are grown just to feed them?
@@Raja1938 No, because they're the cruellest industries
@@Dan-dp8em Industrial agro aside, if you'll eat humanely produced eggs and dairy, you're not vegan.
I welcome cruelty free consumption and humanity no longer having to eat sentient life forms. Love bless the animals
Gimme a t-rex t-bone
Came here from r/funny and just had to make sure that awkwardly worded title was real. Hope he thought his baby boy was delicious. Now he has to wait at least nine months to eat another one.
Can't wait. T-Rex nuggets. mmmh. No sarcasm.
t-rex nuggets from dino meat in the shape of dinosaurs
Well I definitely will not be eating lab grown baby meat 😅😅
Me either...so glad ai became vegan over 20 years ago so there’s no adjustment for me.
me too i'm sticking with eating human flesh
@@Jono1982 Our skin actually regrow!
@@Heavenzvoice I mean you can start eating meat :)
@@JimmyGunawanX I'll eat for days.
And just like other vegetarian alternatives, artificial chicken meat will always be way more expensive than raising chickens will be... pricing out the very population they need to convert to make it work.
Isn't it really chicken though- grown from chicken cells...like how the human cells grown for vaccines are from cells harvested in the late 60 or early 70's? So wouldn't still be chicken? Just missing variety perhaps?
@@orionsshoe2424 it doesnt have to be more expensive. the price will go down over time as the population shifts. the future of food does not involve animals. im convinced of that
what are the winning lottery numbers?
The price will go down as production is scaled up and more efficient processes are developed.
I love my red meat, in moderation.
I can understand eating lab grown meat but why the new baby boy also?
Zoylent Green anyone???
Dino nuggets🥰
Wow wait a minute!! This dude ate lab grown meat and a newborn baby boy!!??? Wtf!
Jello is not vegetarian. I'm surprised he didn't know that.
Chickens are eventually going to takeover the world
That’s why I’m vegan. I’m not really for it or against it but no thanks! People like it.. that’s cool but I’ll stick to the veggies.
Comment 1!!!
i would say as a once-vegan FU to the cell-grown meat. but soylent green gave me nightmares as a kid, try falling asleep to that! i love science, don't get me wrong, but something is off by going down that path, almost as one more step in becoming more AI, and less human. So do we need a show that explores that? u betcha.
F that.
if you wanna do something for the planet ....eat waaay less...you don't have to mess around...like making and eating artificial neanderthal - caveman burgers.
if you care about the planet then stop breeding
Isn’t there a higher chance of contamination in lab grown and lack of regulations?
Maybe look at how germ ridden and unregulated factory farms are.
nope its farm more dangerous eating animals with diseases
I love the taste of my real chicken 🐓 and real beef 🥩 no artificial meat 🍖 for me !!
u think after thousands and years of eating chicke, cows and pork.... it would be good for human to eat T-rex?? muhuhuhaahaha I woander how ppl's DNA will change.
we'll only be able to see people that move
