As a teen in the early 2000's I remember hitting up the Brit Cafe. Hell, I remember my folks dragging me to the Canadian Club in the 80s. Pretty sure they don't allow kids there now. Wife and I are discussing moving back to Germany, she is aiming for Heidelburg. I am leaning more to Landstuhl/K-town or Ramstein area. Sadly, the last time I was in Ramstein was on my way back to Iraq from Bragg in 07. I would like to see in person how much it has changed.
@@DTVDanielTelevision yeah one of those the more things change etc. Still I would like to visit. I mean I started kindergarten in Laundsthul, and graduated from highschool in Ramstein. Worked at the Rec-center and old BX on Ramstein. It was in use at least as far back as the mid 80s. Remember when they set up the Popeyes across from the bowling alley..etc. Closest thing I have to a home time. Liveing that brat life. 🤔 My wife had a similar experience growing up in Heidelberg and lived/worked there tell the post was finally shut down.
I just saw that the Alamo Eggcited was closed and/or moving. They posted it on their Facebook page in March. Do you happen to know where they went? My husband and I are visiting this weekend and would love to eat there.
