Motorcycle ride 🏍️ Mt. Rose 🌹 Plus Washoe City & Washoe Lake

This is a fun little jaunt up Hwy 341 aka Mt. Rose Highway. Turn around at the meadow after the summit due to construction and then down the mountain. Turning on Old 395 to take into Washoe City and down into the ranches. Turned around at the end, and turned onto Eastlake Blvd. down to Washoe City Lake. Gorgeous drive with amazing scenery of the mountains, the wetlands and the Washoe Lake.
Washoe Lake is a eutrophic, shallow lake between Reno and Carson City and just east of the much larger Lake Tahoe. The lake reaches a maximum depth of just 12 feet (3.7 m). The shallowness and the high winds make the lake very turbid. Extensive droughts in the past have caused the lake to dry up entirely, most recently in 1992, 1994, and 2004. (Wiki)
