Thanks for the breakdown, very interesting. I used to make wallets and belts back in the day, but never got much further with my leather working skills.
I am hoping to possibly start offering bible repairs and rebinds as a service to pastors in my area, as well as family and friends. I have a full time job that I love, so this would just be a side project. Still praying about it, but I sure do appreciate all the knowledge you're willing to share with your youtube channel.

This is probably too old to get a reply, but I thought you said you are no longer taking orders. If not how do you order? I admire and respect your calling. I came to the LORD at 71 and I'm 74 now. I think that evangelism may be my calling. I like your attitude regarding the Woke churches. Let's get 'em back. You forgot to add the value of working for yourself to your income. At least $1.000.000.
1,324 rebinds for the year, is that correct? Just wondering what your production numbers were for the year and what that means for needed rebinds per day, week, month to pay the bills. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Appreciate your humility!
I am not sure what that number is! I suppose I average about 20 a month.

Thank you! I did not, there wasn’t any schooling or knowledge of bible rebinding published on the internet that I could find, and I searched diligently when I was beginning.
@@frostLeather thanks for your response! I found a school in Telluride, CO that has programs in book binding, but it’s pretty pricey. You were self taught? I’d like to start as a hobby, but not sure where or how to start. Any advice?
@@timothypaxson2976 Frost Leather has some basic overviews. There is also a book by Diego Caloca, timelapses by SDG, and some paid tutorials from Bensbibles on Etsy. The Bensbibles tutorials teach a different style of rebinding than the others.
