Brother, what type of goatskin you used? Sokoto, Capra granulosa?
Rivergrain and Sokoto, not a fan of the other offerings from Siegel.
dang the part where you shave the leather looks really easy to mess up
It certainly is, I rarely mess up now but has taken me almost a decade to get there.
