I was at a car meet and I heard this when I was casually walking around: "This is a Ford Mustang? I thought it was a Volkswagen." The kid was around 10-11 years old and his dad appeared to be a petrolhead, so I have no clue to how he got it that wrong.
If it was a foxbody and especially a coupe then it's understandable for a young kid to miss it. My aunt had two of them and they definitely to me have a very European look.

My parents bought a white 92 Foxbody hatchback new and the thing was pretty cool from what I heard. Parents sold the thing 10 years later with newspaper patching up the huge chicago rust holes haha
All this and not mentioning the racing capabilities. It's just amazing how much motorsports you can race a Mustang, going from a foxbody drift build to a already fast gt350 around the track
I love my stang. Great cheap v8. Gas mileage could be better and interior plastic pieces leave something to be desired but that’s not the point of why I purchased it. It was cheap horsepower. However don’t forget to consider other cars out there too and maybe give a Camaro a try if you’re not a fan of the mustang.

And that's not what a 2019 Mustang GT looks like, that's a Mustang GT350 and it has a 5.2L V8 with 526hp not 5.0L V8 with 460hp
My grandparents used to have a 2006 Mustang GT Premium, my other grandpa used to have a 1965 Fastback, and my uncle has had over 10 mustangs including a 1969 GT, a Fox Body Cobra Jet, and a Fox Body GT. Can't wait till I get one. :)
Ford Mustang (more specifically the New Edge) is the first sports car I like after playing Midtown Madness. But that mustang is more of JDM instead of muscle car in terms of design and power. I agree with this video, my dad's 2010 Shelby GT500 turns a lot of heads for a fifth the price of a Ferrari or Lamborghini or something. Plus the cool factor is way higher too.
Mustang 2's aren't that bad the fast back/hatch back look great and they came with the most sought after front suspension for hot roders and other muscle cars so no they aren't that bad they great cars really and they are so light the make great race car if you gut them and drop a built 302 or 351 or even big big block motors In them the will go and do it fast so the mustang 2 wasn't that bad sure they had there up's and downs but they ate nice little cars ohh and btw they aren't based on the pinto.

And when he was talking about the 2019 Mustang GT, he showed a picture of a GT350. That's a huge problem bc people who dont know much about the Mustang will think that the GT looks like the GT350.
