Great series on Darwin. Very interesting places. No idea how you both endured the heat. Once again plenty of laughs with John. Good to see the food on offering. Looked amazing. Love the place you are staying at they look like magpie geese. Sunset and food market looked awesome. Wouldn’t know what to choose. Looking forward to go up there. Cheers guys
Another top informative video! I love Darwin, there is so much to see but it is better to visit in the dry season as there is very little humidity. You will love Lichfield NP. Till next weeks vide safe travels.
Darwin is going to be our winter destination when we retire. Every grey nomad we saw up there said its so much better than FNQ(weather-wise) and for the 2 weeks we were up its was superb. Thanks for the reminder on how good it is even if you went in the off season.
Sounds great! It would be a whole new experience in the dry season / winter. I believe there is so much more to see then what we saw as well. Thanks for watching
Another interesting video. Darwin is a great place, definitely one of my favourite cities. What was the name and location of the mango farm where you stayed. Good to see 👨✈️Jon back in the pilot’s chair even though maggies didn’t like the intruder. Those oil bunkers are uncomfortable anytime, but great food options across the road. The Precinct bar is excellent. We’ll be back in Darwin in August and travel your trip in reverse to the east coast. Cheers from Adelaide
Hahaha Jon needs so much practice but we have had wind, rain, birds you name it spoil his fun. For details of the mango farm could you either contact me through our facebook page or email me onlyleavingfootprints@hotmail.com The owner is contactable via facebook.
All the crocodile traps are just beyond the lower pool… and one hopes that those traps are doing their job well. For those concerned, I’d choose to swim way down the other end (the waterfall end) or middle pool.
Yes you can! Well preferable to no kids . But you can message us through our facebook account or email me onlyleavingfootprints@hotmail.com for info. The owner is available for contact on facebook
Coming from tropical sunny Queensland , yep I know. However, you will see throughout this video series that we explain that we are going this way around as we were on a deadline to get to NIngaloo by Christmas and going through NT was way quicker for us then going South first. Thanks for watching
Great blog, guys. Don't worry about the crocodiles' backpackers being their natural food
Hahahaha thats funny. Thanks for watching

Thank you
Well 46% of Australia is tropical and a massive amount sub tropical
South best to travel in the dry as it’s not so unbearable
