It’s been fun watching Su’s transition from no english - broken english - fairly fluent english lol.
English pronunciation is just very very difficult for Japanese people. Many English sounds just don't exist in Japanese. It's funny seeing Indonesians in contrast who have very little trouble with English pronunciation. Rachie does English covers of Japanese songs and I didn't even know she was Indonesian. I thought she was American.
Pretty much the only Japanese with good English pronunciation grew up in America.
Learning to speak Japanese, it honestly impresses me how good she's gotten at pronouncing certain things, the easiest thing to point to is her L's. Both in her speaking and singing, you can really hear her improvement through the years.

Pronunciation is different from fluency. Gawr Gura sings a Japanese song with Shion and it's hard to tell which one is an American girl who barely speaks Japanese and which is a Japanese girl.

I just saw this live at FOX_FEST in Japan. They gave us the best 5 minutes of fun and happiness of our lives. BABYMETAL invited Electric Callboy to their stage and performed together. The entire arena, full of the crowd, got lit and exploded! It was incredible to see this song live! It’s so easy to join the party! Ra Ta Ta Ta Ta! 🤘🦊🤘

Hearing you talk about seeing EC live shows (and your passes), I really suggest to go see Babymetal live as well.
I think it's slightly more serious metal (as in less focused on party) but only slightly and are masters at incorporating audience interaction.

honestly 2 of the most fun bands in the scene making a full on collab, not just features. Collabs this year have been off the bloody chain and this is definitely high on the list. Does a great job of displaying the fun side of both bands, and one hell of a music video. Babymetal with the ratatata callout before a great breakdown was exactly what i needed this year. Honestly i'm kinda with you on 8.6, i'm not sure if i'll be playing it every day, but the fun of this track is undeniable. RATATA
Now im even more sad i didnt go to the concert in chicago lol. I work like 3 hours north but i couldnt find anyone to go with sadly
i got to see them live in Pittsburgh last year. . probably one of the best concerts ive ever seen. easily top 5. amazing band one of my favorites for sure.

Most likely they will be playing this together at FOX_FEST Festival next weekend May 25 and 26 in Japan along with many more artists and bands such Polyphia so can't wait for the live version.
The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference.
The "Fu Fu" (or more like "wu-uh wu-uh") part sounds like Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus and also I think I heard in a K-pop song, not sure which one.
Btw I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that, we'll see in the live version.
Love the euro trance elements mixed with metal, they also did it with Time Wave, one of my favorite BM song from latest album The Other One.
There's probably more references but I'm so far away from pop culture that i probably missing a lot more.
Next suggestion to meet more BM songs:

The beauty of Electric Callboy is their crossover appeal. I can show this song or pretty much most of their discography to anyone and they’ll either get a laugh out of, or thoroughly enjoy their work. It’s campy fun and as someone who loves both Europop and Metal equally, they’re one of my favorite bands.

Things I've learnt as a metal head, is metal can be brutal, it can be hard, it can be emotional and it can be fun as hell and be a rollicking good time. Babymetal and Electric Callboy prove that. When 2 bands get together it usally kicks ass. But bands from 2 different continents is fire.
