The only crime of this album is that all the songs are very short. We need longer versions.
And the hits to the unfortunate 🎹 piano!
I feel that Solar is more diverse musically than her other members who are equally talented and charismatic. She challenges herself more with different genres and can blend these genres seamlessly. Was pleasantly surprised with But I and Colours which showcases her versatility. Blues is my personal favorite in this album. The other 3 songs are just "regular" Solar =) - light and sweet delivered with amazing vocals as always.
I also wasn't the biggest fan of But I on first listen... now I love it! The second verse is what makes the song for me. But Blues is my favorite

I think we need a 12" single with an extend version of Colours on one side and a 20 min Blues jam on the other. RBW, take my money!

Its funny that blues was the last track - like they really said go out with a bang and not a whimper!
On But I, I am much happier with it after I saw Solar's live performances on the music shows. Live piano live lyrics no back track for the first. Live band behind her. Her going full rock star for the performance. It would be more normal in a Western performance, but it is so refreshing in Kpop. On Colours, I'm really forward to the MV. I don't recall if you've heard her Paradise, which is a really awesome EDM (done as the theme song for an dj competition show). I think the one thing I really wish was on this is a straight up rap song. Blues really needs to be longer. I'm hoping for a live performance where she just keeps going. Definitely my favorite track.
As a Prog Metal/Rock guy i really enjoy a song with transition's. That being said Blues is probably my favorite. Way too short. I like colors, I wish she would have released the MV for it. There is a pre-release teaser of an MV for it.
It's coming out May 6th 6pm Korea Standard Time!
I think honey honey would be the most challenging to sing live, even though there's more movement/range in Blues.

I love the ballad sound of But I and if that had been the whole song I would've been happy too. The switch gives it a memorable factor. For Colours if I'm not mistaken she said it was a mix of EDM and it made me curious because it's a style I like to listen to here and there and it really worked perfectly for her, doesn't feel out of place. I hadn't thought of IU when listening to Easy Peasy but now I hear it too. And Blues... what can I say, it's 100% my favorite, instantly went to my playlist. I could very easily see Solar performing at our International Jazz Festival with something like that, that's the caliber of that song. I swear if they don't make an MV for this song...
I have a playlist with "sticky" songs (i don't know how else to describe it) and blues went straight to it. I agree, Blues has risen very fast to the top, if not the topmost, of Solar songs.

My favorite is Blues, that mic drop at the end really says it, she is the best and she knows it, though Solar is my favorite singer so every song is the best. But we are all reacting early, yesterday teasers came out of a performance video coming soon of the entire album, which is what she did with her Face album. So react to the live performance video when it comes even though you will have heard all of the songs. And on Solarsido she has a reaction video of her own to But I, and a second video explaining the album. Each song is a different genre, has a outfit and a color. Plus she explains why some of the songs were made.
This is her best album. She is so proud of this, and I agreed with her.

I don't think the song will hit #1 in the kkbox, it dropped too low #14. But today started at #6 new singles. Is a controversial song b/c the switch BUT is epic. Blues is my favorite and is not doing so well in the charts But for me that's the song in the disk i can't stop listening to it
"Colours" reminds me of Madonna's Vogue.
The performance vid has just dropped, and oh my god.
If there's a dedication, I believe, Empty = Moonbyul, Honey, Honey = Wheein and Blues = Hwasa....Those songs will still be Great if sang by them, instead.
