Solar is the sole writer and composer for Colors, Empty, easy Peasy. She wrote most of the Lyrics for But I. She co-wrote/co-composed Blues

she wrote all the songs except for honey honey and composed abt half the songs,, empty is a song she wrote a really long time ago in 2018 where she suffered a herniated disk and had to be hospitalised. you can watch the solarsido vid where she does a presentation abt the different songs
Blues is easily my favorite. One of her best solo songs. It's like she put Mamamoo's Diamond and Nina Simone's version of Screamin Jay Hawkins' I Put a Spell on You in her Solar powered blender and made a signature smoothie. Yeah, too short - that song needs to stretch out the tension. A wailing guitar solo and another chorus into a high powered finale would be just the ticket, esp if she ever does it with a live band including a horn section.
Loved your interpretation of the But I MV. Zany Bros did the MV, which was shot in Mongolia, and the song was primarily written and produced by Kim Dohoon with Solar as the co-writer.
Right? I would love that extension of Blues, but that’s just me being greedy 😂. And that MV was super well done, I will have to keep my eyes out for other projects the Zany Brothers have done

Solar shows again why she is my favorite singer. House music, rock, ballad, R&B, Folk music and singing Blues. 6 different genres. Colors is the correct spelling, it isnt the same as the album title on purpose. The way she hits with the rock music in But I, a total surprise and her first time performing with a rock band as well in that MV with burning coffin, dead horse, funeral attire and that mongolian desert who else could do a song like that. Empty she sort of wrote years ago during her injury she says and like all of her songs you can really feel the loneliness. In her solarsido video she mentions the excessive number of songs she sings about honey and easy peasy her voice is perfect. My favorite is Blues, She sings the blues genre so perfectly, that song went to the top of my playlist instantly and now we need Solar doing an entire album of blues songs. Solar is my favorite singer.

It's funny how both Moonbyul and Solar wrote a song about being lonely while everyone else is busy. Have these two even stopped working yet? Workaholics are a different breed for sure.

Lunaestrella TV-nim (here: ua-cam.com/video/cI-vqqvOmpI/v-deo.htmlsi=nF3gGM8LkouIwT4P) as she's commonly know, has uploaded a English subbed Solar's Live stream which she revealed album contents, spoke about up-coming plans which includes the fact that But I does not have a choreo as she planned to do a live band performance. In terms of music video, there isn't any for other songs in the album EXCEPT a performance video (check out the teaser clip) for "Color"! A full voguing choreography for the entire song!

The teaser for Colours, the song, shows a MV. Which, IMO, gives even more credence to your thoughts on the lyrics. I hesitate to say more to avoid spoiling your reaction to it when it's released. :) in one of the pre-release discussions she talks about singing Empty as a special presentation during a fan meet earlier this year. MMM did the same thing with their last album. A live performance for fans with the songs before release. Which became the "It's Live" performance for the album. Blues - IKR!#!%

In US English, “color” (no “u”) is the correct spelling. In UK English, “colour” (with a “u”) is standard. Both spellings are correct
Oh I know that, I’m just not sure why the spelling isn’t consistent between the album and the song title
@@SylverReactsshe spelled them differently because she emphasized the OURS in COLOURS as she said the album is about diversity and everyone has a different color.she was also inspired by her fans saying this album is ours.
Just Fyi Solar does spell colors differently for the ep and song.

She's credited as writer/composer for 5/6 of the songs. 3 of those she wrote/composed by herself: colors, empty, and easy peazy.
Colors is for the girls and the gays. A cunty dance track. Anyway, my favorite so far is Empty, Blues, and But I. In that order. Mostly cause I've been waiting for empty for forever.
She's said this album best represents her and is what her fans want. It showcases her different colors and her versatility, no matter what genre.
But I agree, blues and rock is definitely the best colors for her. I want her to do evanescence or some amy winehouse/nina simone type music.
Colours have the Madonna's Vogue vibe
The Colors song was Solar voguing. It's a whole LGBT culture of its own. It makes me wonder if she started watching RuPaul's Drag Race recently. It's amazing how she's never afraid to boldy go where no one in Korea has tread before. The EDM was a little too far off for me but this one, I quite enjoyed.
She made a little video with choreo and everything for Colors in one of her previews.
Blues is definitely my favorite. Maybe she'll stretch out a live version some time. Colours is at the bottom as a song but I'm dying for the MV if it follows the teaser. She said the point of the spelling of Colours is so that ours is part of it. The dancers performing with her are LGBTQ+. I'm also not fond of Easy Peasy, but the other 3 still have to sort themselves out. I absolutely love But I as an mv but I only like it as a song. She said Empty was inspired by her stay in the hospital with a back injury, after her visitors all went away. Her first album Honey was more to my taste.
