Hi Andy, about 20 years ago, i converted a T4 to a camper, although i did not do it, i paid different companies to do stuff till it was finished. It was the best mobile s**g pad i ever had! But nowadays i like the space of a Caravan and a half decent Tow car for a third of the price of this van! Lovely as this is i could never afford 60K for a van, i bought my first house for 40k!
Its a different user but folk love them and I do like stopping for lunch in a off the beaten track road - yes expensive but orders being taken with lots of extras added - love your story and comments as always - thanks
Hi Andy, yeah I do like that Camper Van. It's not for me and my wife we like our space in the Xplore 554 but I can see young people who just want to tour and see the world a bit liking the freedom it affords. For 2 you could still use it as a daily car and hop into it at weekends and head to the country. Looks a quality product and as you say they've been in the business for many years. A lot of mediocre van conversions out there and I've heard some horror stories too, so best advice is buy a reputable brand. "The day you buy is the day you sell," holds through for camper vans. Enjoyed the look around Andy, as always with you, an honest review. Well done!
Buy known brands best advice Kevin and thanks as always for your comments - next video I mention you and Colin Mew - its a classic caravan video so keep a look out!
