    I'm finding a way to understand Kanban luckily I found this video and it really sums up everything in a well- explained and thorough manner in such a short period of time. Thank you!

    Great explanation..! Kanban's beauty is that it allows you to display your results, making processing simpler. While I do think Restyaboard is a great tool for this.

      I agree that Kanban is a great way to visualize progress. I personally use Trello, but there are a number of other solid apps that offer a good feature set with a freemium model.

    Whenever you speak about swim lanes in our videos you represent them as columns instead of rows, they are rows not columns. Someone pointed this out on another video of yours and 11 months later the video contains the same mistake. Hope you fix it as it is very misleading. Good luck and cheers for the videos.

    My Japanese friends tell me the word is pronounced ‘can-ban’, but other than that, a good intro. P.S. Six Sigma originated at Motorola, not Toyota.

    • @Onlinepmcourses

      Thanks, Richard. I always pronounced it Can-ban, until I was told that Japanese say can-bahn. Now, I just don't know.

    Very helpful. Mike, do you have any videos on introducing PM concepts to a team that doesn't have much PM experience? I work in HR and notice that we don't have a systematic way to approach projects. My org seems to only use PM for IT, but I think there's value in it for other departments. The problem is that I don't know where to start; the concepts are new, the vocabulary is new, and it's hard aligning our work with the phases of PM. Any tips?

    • @Onlinepmcourses
      @Onlinepmcourses  5 років тому +1

      I am glad you like my graphics. Thank you for asking.
      I use Final cut Pro X to edit my videos, with a number of third-party plugins to help create my animations and graphics.
      In this case, the main one was mBlueprint, by a brilliant company called MotionVFX, which provided the background and text elements of the blueprint style graphics. (www.motionvfx.com/mplugs-155.html)
      I also used a plugin from LenoFX for the animated bullet points.
      The animation that starts around 1:50, however, is one I built in Motion (a motion graphics app that complements FCPX) and added onto the mBlueprint background.
      Note that FCPX, Motion, and the plugins I use need to run on a Mac.
