Next tips video: ua-cam.com/video/FqdX8PlqrtQ/v-deo.html Hey gamers, apparently it is not tacticool to use cover and concealment interchangeably. Consider this my correction ♥️ You can shoot the lever door to drop it too. Yep
Honestly, that's IMO very important for the partial reloads talked about in this video. I do it like this - fire > keep the button depressed > press and hold R > release fire > release R. This is a 100% way for the mechanic to work. I've tried just pushing R after a shot but IMO it doesn't work, or is at the very least extremely unreliable. An advanced tactic, that is finally possible in this game thanks to this mechanic, is shooting just 1 round from a magazine and topping up straight after. I mostly do this when fighting a boss, to always have a full magazine in case players ambush me. It's like having a magazine cutoff, a period-correct function.
This is literally so important for people to know. Bulletgrubber is handy if youre outside of a fight and want to top off, but you dont need it to do partial reloads.
@@frajecz You can also just hold the reload button right after firing, instead of trying to press it at the right moment you might not be familiar with. It's pretty reliable (always worked for me) and u start to reload your gun asap, because you're not wasting your time on holding the bolt for no reason.
I'd like to have it like it's done in red orchestra (bolt is cycled by hand by pressing the left mouse button a second time after shooting). Very satisfying - also emphasizes fanning/levering/semi auto weapons.
On the first tip, there needs to be a distinction between concealment and cover. Smoke might conceal you but it won't stop a bullet. Concertina will eat a bullet, and truly does work as cover. Similarly, a thin wood wall is concealment, while a steel door is cover.
While that is technically true, there are also a few scenarios where it is perfectly fine to use wood as cover (particularly against non-fmj compact ammo and bows) the compact ammo can't headshot a full health hunter through wooden walls and bows can't penetrate (except shot bolts)
If you're in a "sniper fight" shoot ai around the enemy, they might end up taking the aggro. If an ally has crossbow with poison bolts and the clue is guarded by a meathead, get said ally to shoot you and proceed to run away. Save stamina, don't melee into nothing, switch to your gun whilst releasing your melee button. Always kiss your homies goodnight Talk in game and give false info, never let them know your next move. Always count bodies, a game is 12 players max. Stand alone in a corner of the boss room of the assassin and throw a poison bomb down where is doesn't touch you but you can't move without taking damage, it will stun lock the assassin when he tries to attack you.
A nice tip if you are playing crossbow/shotbolt: if you spot somebody on the map they don't know it, and you want to confuse them, shoot into the sky above their head and make the shot bolt land in front of them by a decent amount. They will typically think they are getting the drop on somebody doing PvE and start crouch walking, and they wont suspect you are actually coming up from the rear with the 1-shot meat cannon
Some stealth tips: - You can stealth-kill horses with the lantern after you turn it off (X button on PC) and toss it at their head. I'm not sure if this stealth kills grunts as well. - You can burn ducks by tossing the lantern on top of one of them. - Fire isn't silent, pick poison if you want to make as little sound as possible. Don't shoot the lanterns over pens if someone is near your compound, it makes considerable noise. - You can cancel a charged melee attack by switching to a different weapon/tool, to avoid the noise.
Solid tips. I have one addendum Instead of changing gear to cancel a heavy attack you can dark sight. This cancels most actions in the game. Granted dark sighting is audible to other players within a relatively close range. So switching gear may be the stealthiest option.
Great tips, didn't know about the swapping one, here's some more: You can open barred doors by shooting out the wooden beam that bars it. Near the end of a banish, the compound around the banishing body gets really loud, use that to push if you are in a position to before they get truesight. You can shoot or punch traps to trigger them instead of the disarm interaction. This is nice for Bear traps, particularly. You can punch doors to open them very quickly, great for fast rotates or when you need to run quick. Be sure to lower your weapon when not in use (can be done in both schemes), you'd be surprised the amount of kills I've gotten for tracing a Mosin sticking out of a window, which leads me to my next point: People seem to forget, you can wallbang a lot of surfaces in this game, especially with fmj. Get creative, take pot shots, if you don't hit, you can at least add pressure or even make campers shift to hear them.
Good video. I would like to add that the lever doors can be closed by shooting the door itself aswell. Also seperate your jump and vault key ppl!! So many times people jump while close to a fence or something smaller in a building and they vault to their death instead.
I ended up turning auto-interact back off for this reason and because it always seemed like there was an extra delay, where I could interact faster just by clicking at the right time. Like, the words would come up on the screen, but it wouldn't happen unless I stared at it for a second. So I couldn't just like run past a knife on the ground while holding it
1300 hours and didn't know about Auto-interact will def be helpful. My tip is at the very bottom of the HUD tab it has "Highlight interactable Objects" change that setting to "exclude doors and windows" helps you get those dirty peeks through cracks in door and windows. Not super big tip but some people may not know about it!
It is slower than usual toggle interact, though. Sure, you can grab all your bolts from meathead in a bunch, but you start your auto-interaction with 0.1 sec delay. It is annoying as hell when you want to grab that medkit in fight as soon as possible.
Auto Interact was something we've added semi recently. We hope you'll get some good use out of it. Maybe even defuse some consumable with dauntless if you are really on your game!
this tip is pretty specific but if ure a combat axe user youll love to know it. You dont need to heavy attack hunters to kill them, a light attack will be enough, this way you will avoid the heavy breathing sound and a horizontal blow is easier to land and capable of taking multiple targets and once
If you use the Bow a lot, remember you can press R to cancel a draw and not have to lose a shot or waste time switching weapons. (unfortunately this doesn't work for heavy attacks)
One tip that I found really useful is that certain melee weapons with wide swing can hit multiple enemies, which can help save on stamina when dealing with hordes of AI, especially hounds. This could be a good thing to include in a Bomb Lance weapon guide.
The lever doors can also close by hitting the door itself. Also, anything that can hit the crank/lever/door will work, no need to use gunshots: if you need to close one at a distance without drawing attention you can throw anything from a tomahawk to a decoy and it'll do the same job as a gunshot.
Remember to have fun with the game! This game is easy to burn out on. Meme loadouts are needed sometimes. Go in with nothing but an axe and 4 stamina shots and make monkey noises at people.
At distance, Bullets hitting surfaces can attract nearby AI to said target. This can be used to flush hunters from cover with grunts, armored or even dogs/immolators at distance. Works best with suppressed weapons. Works best with Immolators in my exsperince.
Here's another addition to that; if you know there's a group of enemies nearby and you see an Immolator, shoot it. It will aggro on the nearest source of sound, usually an enemy player and attack them. Since it's been shot, it also burns them.
Frag bombs only create like a second of smoke cover, dynamite takes about 8 seconds to clear, so be careful you dont use a frag to create cover. Dynamite can be used to clear out concertina, probably the best way to unconcertina your buddy if hes dead and you dont want to give away youre going for a revive by making meleeing sounds. The explosion of a choke is larger than the smoke cloud that stays around later. If you toss a choke near someone rather than on top of them, the explosion will put them out, while the remaining cloud will be far away enough not to make you cough
Closing doors by shooting was new to me So was auto-interact, using explosives as concealement, cooking choke bombs, clearing poison with choke ... I still don't understand the partial reload thing ..I'll have to play with it myself
Basically, for weapons like a mosin or lebel, after you fire they normally cycle the bolt, eject the empty shell, and chamber another live round. If you hit reload AFTER the gun does this, the gun will eject the live round it just put in, and you lose that bullet (unless you have bullet grubber). Then your character starts reloading the gun If you hit reload BEFORE the gun chambers another round (immediately after shooting), the gun will eject the empty shell, and your character will begin loading the gun by hand, and you won't lose a round in the process
Cooking explosives is extremely important but like 90% of the time I see people using it they just throw the dynamite or frag without cooking it at all. This will net you like zero kills because all throwables have a timer of like 5 seconds which makes uncooked throwables easy to dodge. Luckily cooking is easy to do because the throwing indicator will tell you exactly where the throwable will explode, as the big diamond looking part will start to pull back towards you once you get to the end of the explosive timer. This means you don't have to worry about counting and can just watch the indicator start to lift up off the ground to know that your explosive will detonate where it lands instantly.
You can lower your gun when in gunslinger mode by holding the weapon swap button (Q by default). Super handy, because otherwise weapons WILL clip through walls and get you killed.
-in random trios i've met people who were surprised when i killed immolators with choke bombs :D so that's that. -Shovel has 2 attack types, light attack is a sharp attack, heavy attack is blunt, so if you're fighting an immolator don't use light attacks, that one's from experience :D -Round iron sights of "Aperture" type weapons can be folded with ammo switch key, (doesn't work for Nitro express). -All kinds of explosives will explode instantly if thrown into fire or onto a Red/Yellow barrel, along with the barrel itself. -Opening doors/gates while sneaking will open them slowly, making less noise. -You can line up multiple alert trip mines to cover more distance from the barrel (3 alert mines max to oneshot with a red barrel) -poison ammo is blunt, meaning you can shoot immolators with it, and it usually oneshots them. -Special ammo with effects like fire/poison/bleed lose penetration, so don't waste them on wallbangs. -Choke bombs can extinguish bodies through walls, if the body is close to the wall and if the body is above you, you can also hold the choke bomb to time it for explosion in mid air to extinguish your mate through the ceiling. + choke bombs initial explosion radius is bigger than the after effect, so you can throw it a couple meters to the side of the body to extinguish the fire but not to cover it in smoke. -You can extinguish a body by starting and canceling a revive (simply tapping the interract button) -Shotguns are cringe. -Serpent is the best trait in the game.
You can also close lever doors by shooting the red gate and not just the lever. When you have throwables (throwing knife, throwing axe), use it on bosses and then hit them once with melee. The melee should stun them and giving you enough time to pick up the throwables from their body doing another set of damage. ( Spider doesn't get stunned) Best way to throw a sticky against a spider is to go in, once spider spots you it will stop and scream and that will be the perfect time to throw a sticky. (trickier if there's a teammate inside and he gets spotted instead) When using fanning, you can hipfire and then ADS to do a quick 2 shot combo if your first shot hits. (doesnt work that well with levering) Walking backwards and interacting with a door opens them towards you, rather than away from you. Immolators die to choke bombs. If u are on a gun fight and an annoying armored husks is aggroed to you, heavy melee or shoot it's legs. It should cripple the husk and make it move slower. shooting barrels twice (except green barrels) makes them explode faster Lightfoot will make your first jump quiet, consequent jumps with make the hunter grunt louder and louder. (The quiet jump will have a cooldown/interval) Fastest and stamina efficient way to kill husks with knuckle knife is H>L>H>L (Heavy>light>heavy>light)
You can shoot a lever gate on the actual door that drops to make it fall as well or melee works too. Another good tip for being stealthy is crouch before opening a door to make it open quiet.
Another "useful tip" is when using the gunslinger control scheme you can hold "Q" to lower the gun. This can avoid getting wallbang when the gun is up or just to have clear vision while you are in not a fightl.
if you want to run without killing grunts to save stamina, just slash their legs quick, comes in handy if youre getting chased by players as they sometimes work as distraction when they stumble behind you as most ppl arent used to their stumbling move speed and think its a player
(In parentheses for Xbox) 4:00 I’ll add in for console players if u hold L1 (left bumper) and hold square (x) on top of an item, it will switch that slot to be the new Dpad quick select item. Useful in quickplay when u pick items up in a weird order but still want the vitality shot on D-Right. This keeps the function between games though so u have to manually switch in following games if u want it changed.
I knew you could shoot lever doors, but didn't realize the same applied to sliding doors. And the hold to interact thing just made finding bolts that much easier
Number 8 is missing a little thing! You can hold the fire button after shooting to not cycle the bolt/pump/lever, allowing to you to reload without the loss of a bullet at any point (as long as you don't let go of the button)
I actually did learn a couple things from this, the 1st one I learned was to use the throwables for cover, I never thought of it like that, the 2nd was closing doors from a distance, and the 3rd was the Auto Interact. That last one is HUGE!
You can open doors towards you by pressing S and backing up at the same time. useful when you need to sneak but don't want the door to be as easy to notice
Idk if any1 typed this tip but, A good 1 that saved my life many times is to "Use chokebombs on doors and windows to either block certain throwables from exploding, Or to cough enemy players so sound queuing."
Amazing tips! Here are some more: 1. Crows (and maybe Ducks?) fly in the same direction as you're running - so if you hear some, look up and you can get an idea of where people are going (Of course, people can abuse you knowing this and trick you) 2. Decoys are great for hitting interactables quietly - I.E. throwing a Decoy at a lantern above a Dog Cage to kill them quietly (No silenced weapon or throwing knife needed!) 3. Shoot either Poison OR Concertina bullets/bolts/objects at an outside wall and the Concertina or Poison will spread in an area, effectively going through the wall (Ideal for when someone is camping an objective inside)
That may be what I meant - I know running into them will cause them to flee away further in the direction you were originally running to, and I guess I was of the mind set of running in the same direction as they flee.
Number 11: There is a Spot at Fort Carmick's west wall where you can climb onto the top from the outside. You can use this for surprise flanking maneuvres
Pulling any arrows/axes/knives out of a zombie actually does damage. So you can shoot a zombie with an arrow, run up to it and yank it out of him to finish the kill. It feels pretty cinematic and sometimes faster than wasting another arrow.
Be aware of your hunters position when you are directly against a wall from inside or outside a building. Your hunters weapon and body will stick out partially from the other side of the wall giving the enemy a chance to wall bang you.
Something I have always said holds back newer players and hooks into one of your points is that Weapon skins do not tell you what the original gun is. When you are new and dont know what all the guns look like (with or without a skin) and you are looking to resupply your ammo, you end up not knowing which guns hold your ammo type because you may not know what a "Bear's Tooth" is. Add to this that you may not have all the time in the world to reload yourself on the dead bodies before new hunters arrive and you have a very stressful moment for newer players. Its a small thing but I don't think vets of the game really think about it.
- opening doors while crouching makes it less loud and slower - put a beartrap on top of a dead body, it will remain invisible under it and when their partner ress they will die again - horses can be oneshot-ed with any kind of melee on the head, charged or not: you can sprint towards them, hit them in the head and wont get enough time to snort - caged dogs make gradual noise as hunters get closer
For number 8 you can also hold down the mouse after you've fired and you won't cycle the bolt til you release it. Makes it easier to hit the reload key rather than rushing to do it before the animation starts. Not sure if this works with shotguns.
Thought I knew everything, until the auto interact. it makes bolt and arrow weapons so much nicer to play instead of crouching and spamming F until your hand finds the bold lol
The first tip is pretty cool, but I just want to add that the smoke cover from the yule doesn't work against people who play on low graphics settings. I play on low (hardware limitations), and these smoke barriers are almost transparent on my screen. At first I thought it was the same for everyone so I avoided using it, but after watching this video I now realize that's not the case. The dirt cloud from dynamites and choke smoke all work properly though.
i tried the auto intreact function for a couple of weeks but i found that opening the gates where you have to hold kind of sucks because you need to look away after you start interacting or you have to release the button at the perfect time or you will just close the door again.^^ that alone made me go back to non auto interact, i rather press interact 5 times to get all my throwing knifes back then having to open a door twice in a gun fight! :D
Most recent trick that I learned is that when you have a Aperture weapon you can actualy lower the aperture sight and use guns normal iron sights you do that by using key to swtich ammo types usualy X on PC
Do not reload before grabbing extra ammo, because without bullet grubber you can lose a round for no reason. The extra ammo will be added to reserve, it will not cap it. For example, a 5/10 round weapon can also be 0/15. You can hold a total of 15 rounds, not 5 in the weapon and 10 in reserve.
If you start walking backwards while interacting with swinging gates, doors and windows, you can open them inward, perfect for punishing leakers looking for the door to open outward
What is the cooking time of choke bombs? I think Frags are 5 seconds and all dynamite is 4, with sticky and chaos being 8. Not sure about chokes, though!
You can murder swarms of crows with poison crossbow bolts, explosive crossbow bolts, and concertina arrows. Also works if the crows are on ledges as well just gotta land the shot. PagMan
if you just press r, you can miss timing and lose bullet, if you hold mw1 when shooting, your bolt wont open until you release wm1 button, better for timings
Partial reloads also don't work with the Terminus even though the gun also benefits from Bulletgrubber. This is because when it fires, it automatically loads the next shot.
I'm still trying to figure out if using a flare/fusee Close to yourself, Close to your Enemy, or Betwen both you And your enemy, offers the best visual blinding effect to be harder to shoot
I had auto-interact enabled but found that I kept accidentally closing crank doors after I opened them because I would accidentally hold down E for too long. So I got rid of it lol.
If any of you have children playing this game. Beware of a man with the name [Huntai] Vorkath who preys on kids playing the game Hunt Showdown. He has been messaging disgusting inappropriate chat to my 14 year old son. I have filed a report with our local police department and STEAM. Hopefully they will look into it and hold him accountable.
How do you slam fire a weapon? Like I saw a pistol where he shot very very fast by pulling the lever down with the left hand while holding in the right hand in game
The only thing for fire is if a hunter throws a frag in it, it immediately goes off. I don't use fire as a protection anymore I just don't bring it. I forget to much it's dangerous 😭
Best tip is always burn those you kill which some players never do which is strange to me and never play with randoms, some are great and some are totally braindead
You can close the red doors by shooting the metal door itself if i remember correctly. Also, as i was typing this i realized someone else already did but what am I gonna do? Let this beautiful comment go to waste? No way man
My tip is: notice that the 1-click ping and the 2-click ping have different durations. The 2 click pink disappears much faster than the single click. In my team we either 1 click or 3 click so the pings remain and the information needed is still communicated. This way the ping lasts for longer, Incase you might lose your bearings.

-All kinds of explosives will explode instantly if thrown into fire or onto a Red/Yellow barrel, along with the barrel itself.
-Opening doors/gates while sneaking will open them slowly, making less noise.
-You can line up multiple alert trip mines to cover more distance from the barrel (3 alert mines max to oneshot with a red barrel)
-poison ammo is blunt, meaning you can shoot immolators with it, and it usually oneshots them.
-You can extinguish a body by starting and canceling a revive (simply tapping the interract button)
-Shotguns are cringe.
-Serpent is the best trait in the game.
You can turn off laterns w/ alternate fire button to help sneaking when playing night maps
You can also close lever doors by shooting the red gate and not just the lever.
When you have throwables (throwing knife, throwing axe), use it on bosses and then hit them once with melee. The melee should stun them and giving you enough time to pick up the throwables from their body doing another set of damage. ( Spider doesn't get stunned)
Best way to throw a sticky against a spider is to go in, once spider spots you it will stop and scream and that will be the perfect time to throw a sticky. (trickier if there's a teammate inside and he gets spotted instead)
When using fanning, you can hipfire and then ADS to do a quick 2 shot combo if your first shot hits. (doesnt work that well with levering)
Walking backwards and interacting with a door opens them towards you, rather than away from you.
Immolators die to choke bombs.
If u are on a gun fight and an annoying armored husks is aggroed to you, heavy melee or shoot it's legs. It should cripple the husk and make it move slower.
shooting barrels twice (except green barrels) makes them explode faster
Lightfoot will make your first jump quiet, consequent jumps with make the hunter grunt louder and louder. (The quiet jump will have a cooldown/interval)
Fastest and stamina efficient way to kill husks with knuckle knife is H>L>H>L (Heavy>light>heavy>light)
I just killed and extracted a bounty solo on my seconds public match ever with my potato laptop playing at 1280p resolution all thanks to you
Auto interact was new to me. Dope!
if you want to run without killing grunts to save stamina, just slash their legs quick, comes in handy if youre getting chased by players as they sometimes work as distraction when they stumble behind you as most ppl arent used to their stumbling move speed and think its a player
I just learned this recently, been playing way too long not knowing this haha
@@dRoscoAZ to be fair, they added that only 1 or 2 patches ago, I think
@@Gerleif Oh, gotcha. I'm so glad, because it helps a ton now that I know!
Damn didn't know this. Thanks!
Idk if any1 typed this tip but, A good 1 that saved my life many times is to
"Use chokebombs on doors and windows to either block certain throwables from exploding, Or to cough enemy players so sound queuing."
3:15 you can also close the lever gates by shooting the gates themselves!
Amazing tips! Here are some more:
1. Crows (and maybe Ducks?) fly in the same direction as you're running - so if you hear some, look up and you can get an idea of where people are going (Of course, people can abuse you knowing this and trick you)
2. Decoys are great for hitting interactables quietly - I.E. throwing a Decoy at a lantern above a Dog Cage to kill them quietly (No silenced weapon or throwing knife needed!)
3. Shoot either Poison OR Concertina bullets/bolts/objects at an outside wall and the Concertina or Poison will spread in an area, effectively going through the wall (Ideal for when someone is camping an objective inside)
afaik the birds fly away from you, not "in the same direction you're running"
That may be what I meant - I know running into them will cause them to flee away further in the direction you were originally running to, and I guess I was of the mind set of running in the same direction as they flee.
Use decoys to trick the water devils into attacking it when you try to cross. You can also use decoys to mimic someone walking through water.
Number 11: There is a Spot at Fort Carmick's west wall where you can climb onto the top from the outside. You can use this for surprise flanking maneuvres
My tip is that I shoot crows with dragon's breath so I won't trigger them.
ninja style!
Pulling any arrows/axes/knives out of a zombie actually does damage. So you can shoot a zombie with an arrow, run up to it and yank it out of him to finish the kill. It feels pretty cinematic and sometimes faster than wasting another arrow.
1:59 How did you change the stats icons into letter stats?
3:00 You can also just shoot the gate
Lever and crank doors can also be closed by meleeing them. Not super useful, but it can be done
- opening doors while crouching makes it less loud and slower
- put a beartrap on top of a dead body, it will remain invisible under it and when their partner ress they will die again
- horses can be oneshot-ed with any kind of melee on the head, charged or not: you can sprint towards them, hit them in the head and wont get enough time to snort
- caged dogs make gradual noise as hunters get closer
For number 8 you can also hold down the mouse after you've fired and you won't cycle the bolt til you release it. Makes it easier to hit the reload key rather than rushing to do it before the animation starts. Not sure if this works with shotguns.
It does. This tip doesn't work for the semi-auto pistols though
3:10
ALSO, You can close lever gates by shooting them on the bottom of the gate, which will be along the top when it's open (shoot the red part) 🤙🏽
You can shoot the actual gate on lever gates to close them.
Genuinely helpful as a new player, had no idea about audio distortion!
Thought I knew everything, until the auto interact. it makes bolt and arrow weapons so much nicer to play instead of crouching and spamming F until your hand finds the bold lol
There are surprisingly few videos on this topic for this game
With the lever doors, you don’t need to hit the lever to get them to drop. You can also shoot the door itself.
The dirt cloud from dynamites and choke smoke all work properly though.
i tried the auto intreact function for a couple of weeks but i found that opening the gates where you have to hold kind of sucks because you need to look away after you start interacting or you have to release the button at the perfect time or you will just close the door again.^^
that alone made me go back to non auto interact, i rather press interact 5 times to get all my throwing knifes back then having to open a door twice in a gun fight! :D
Most recent trick that I learned is that when you have a Aperture weapon you can actualy lower the aperture sight and use guns normal iron sights
you do that by using key to swtich ammo types usualy X on PC
My favorite hunt UA-camr back at it again, these are really nice!
Do not reload before grabbing extra ammo, because without bullet grubber you can lose a round for no reason. The extra ammo will be added to reserve, it will not cap it. For example, a 5/10 round weapon can also be 0/15. You can hold a total of 15 rounds, not 5 in the weapon and 10 in reserve.
that partial reload is sick dude, never heard of it before!
If you start walking backwards while interacting with swinging gates, doors and windows, you can open them inward, perfect for punishing leakers looking for the door to open outward
You can also shoot the gates/doors on lever passages to drop the gates too.
Did I miss something in the beginning? People who are spectating you can still communicate with you?
If they are his teammates and they're on Discord (or similar).
the ignore window focus follow tip got me lol was clever so I subbed on principle alone lmao
Light attacks with the shovel are great at clearing out concertina.
to add to this, any "slashing" attack will easily clear out concertina.
PagMan
I’ve been using the lanterns in buildings to create smoke clouds! Because I like saving my firebombs for hunter bodies
Really enjoy your vids man!
if you just press r, you can miss timing and lose bullet, if you hold mw1 when shooting, your bolt wont open until you release wm1 button, better for timings
With cages you can hit it with melee to close it also.
I didn't know you could see your partners loadouts, super helpful!
knew all 10, dont know how to fell about that, but i really love the fact that you care about us to know some interesting tricks
Aside from crows, you can also get rid of ducks by shooting them with a poison crossbow bolt
I'm pretty darn sure wax dynamite goes through choke. That's a good one.
Partial reloads also don't work with the Terminus even though the gun also benefits from Bulletgrubber. This is because when it fires, it automatically loads the next shot.
I didn't check but, it should work if you hold down left click after shooting.
Lever doors can also been closed by shooting the top of the actual gate.
This one does not seem to be common knowledge but you can open doors towards yourself if you walk backwards whilst opening.
Auto interact seems bugged for me. It seems to decide when it wants to pick up stuff. I have it on for dauntless but I'm not sure I'd trust it
I'm still trying to figure out if using a flare/fusee Close to yourself, Close to your Enemy, or Betwen both you And your enemy, offers the best visual blinding effect to be harder to shoot
you can drop lever doors with any red part being hit
Tips for beginners: YOU CAN SKIP MOST AI YOU DONT HAVE TO RUN UP AND FIGHT EVERY PACK OF DOGS YOU SEE
but the xp
but my bloodhound summons
I had auto-interact enabled but found that I kept accidentally closing crank doors after I opened them because I would accidentally hold down E for too long. So I got rid of it lol.
Didnt knew about auto-interact. testing now!
That is the trait Fanning. It only works on single action revolvers
@@HomeReel ah OK. Thanks
Will auto interact also interact with windows and doors?
Yes, with everything "usable": clues, bounties, bolts, doors, pianos etc
The only thing for fire is if a hunter throws a frag in it, it immediately goes off. I don't use fire as a protection anymore I just don't bring it. I forget to much it's dangerous 😭
Best tip is always burn those you kill which some players never do which is strange to me and never play with randoms, some are great and some are totally braindead
You can close the red doors by shooting the metal door itself if i remember correctly. Also, as i was typing this i realized someone else already did but what am I gonna do? Let this beautiful comment go to waste? No way man
Ditto hahaha 😆
The next tip video needs to be very specific or I’m gonna get 50 of the same comment again lol
@@HomeReel CONCEALMENT VERSUS COVER HOME DONT YOU GET IT
I didn’t know you could shoot doors closed, I’m a console player so I’m not sure if auto interact applies to me
Which gun is it on 2:35 min?

Great Video as Always home
I want some more advanced tips, like spawns, where to look etc
The last two are a game changer for me lol
Good tips and good video!
I think something a lot of people don't understand is that
I'm in your walls
What are they doing to poison?
Damn a couple of those were super helpful thanks
My tip is: notice that the 1-click ping and the 2-click ping have different durations. The 2 click pink disappears much faster than the single click.
In my team we either 1 click or 3 click so the pings remain and the information needed is still communicated. This way the ping lasts for longer, Incase you might lose your bearings.
