@33rdframe I can agree with you about that prospect. However, I never considered myself artistic. Once I took the labels off I can see my work as art. Especially through the eyes of others when they compliment or critique it. Originally, I started UA-cam out with similar ideals. However, after 10 years of making videos and barely making enough to pay for Adobe subscriptions, I believe the squeaky wheel gets the grease. So if you want to be paid for your work you must ask and you deserve it. I can see you worked hard putting this video together and you certainly deserve to be rewarded. Whatever way is suitable for your ideals or morals is fine with me.
I ended up having to purchase three of those 10G adapters. Most of the cheap ones are not genuine Intel controllers. I ended up paying a steep price for and intel 550 T2 controller. Although it was the only network card that would work in my x4 slot.
I have build in progress. Just have to add 4 more drives. I'm kind of curious what some basic throughput and latency numbers are for your build. Very surprised to see it beat out the local NVME in your comparison.
installing truenas on anything bigger than 32gb or 64gb or so is a waste. truenas only allows 1 pool on a drive, and the boot pool cant have anything else on it but trunas images. itll keep older truenas images available to boot after you update it, but they are only about 2gb a piece. all data pools, even the apps dataset, have to be on a different drive than the one with the boot pool, you wont even see it in storage.

@@WanneSomeSoup much appreciated, bro
This is really interesting stuff... Don't see why you can't make affiliate links. I can appreciate the effort here though. Cheers
@@PizzlesTechTime affiliate marketing is what has killed art and can be argued is a big ingredient to the corruption of youtube

@@zira_fluff4105 I am saturating the 10Gb line easily. So actually 10g is a bottleneck
