Yamaha is a totally unique company. They make musical instruments, they make recording mixing and PA gear, they also make home audio gear. They are involved at every stage of the process of music making. Having said the above, they are a huge corporation and the individual departments probably don’t talk to one another 😂
Hi! I have the Powered Speakers Edifier S1000 MK II and I just need to listen to my CDs, I am thinking of getting the Yamaha CD Player S303 and I don't wanna spend more money in other devices, is it worth? Can I Take advantage of the Built In DAC in the CD Player with my speakers?
@@dennishill290what does this firmware have to do with cd playback? Oh well likely zero. Anyway got one 348 dollars to my door. It is a lovely unit and scarily the DAC sounds sort of nearly as good as the Bryston BDA-1. I have the 5 cd changer they discontinued too 329 delivered. My cables a pair more than either player. DH Labs air matrix.
Too bad you have to go through the trouble of updating. It's a pain downloading an update on Yamaha's website then uploading on the cd player through USB.
