Bella was brilliant and she made you feel her desperation of getting out of that place (for a moment I thought she wasn't going to make it); that final scene where both reunited that was so emotional and made you cry, Joel saying "baby girl" after 20 years; Ellie mumbling because she was so shocked after killing David, everything was perfect. Scott Shepard's acting was brutally brilliant too. That smirk when he picks up Ellie (0:05) was subtle yet truly scary as you can see his true intentions. And as the episode went by, you can see more and more of his twisted nature played so unbelievably well by him. What an actor!

Bella deserves an emmy for this episode, I mean honestly the attention to detail. It felt like warping into the game and becoming the characters. The actor who played David brought a different medium to David, game version prob had a more menacing look. But in a way the actor had a he just seems a normal guy. But under neath he is evil thing. .Which worked. Prob the best adapatiation of any medium ive seen.

This episode was absolutely heartbreaking. Bella did so good, betraying Ellie this episode in between the feeling the way of knowing that she’s the only person who can get her out of this issue, and her screamed. The way Bella screamed was skin crawling. It made me want to cry because I felt every emotion that the character Ellie was feeling in that exact moment, and the fact Bella portrayed that is insane to me, and I just realized that the person he was Joel in the gate was actually the guy in the show and I didn’t realize that till just now.

I believed her as Ellie from the start but I was worried about how she would be able to convince us she’s fiercely capable of doing some brutal stuff as adult Ellie later. Well I’m convinced. She’ll do a freaking fantastic job with the next few seasons. Those that doubted her are about to eat their words, the fvckers. Also Bella is freaking gorgeous. They really made us feel like as when we where playing the game. Ellie was like a cornered wild beast full of fear and anger that got abused and beaten up time after time again. It made the way she killed David so much more believing. It really showed how a really kind hearted person can break and become the most savage beast there is. They made you feel that in the end, Ellie lost anyways. She really lost her innocence and the child in her. And that's what she shocked her afterwards.
