That’s awesome. I think it will be very hard to land a fish with a bait that big though. I’ve used a big heavy custom glide bait. The problem I’ve had with it is when I do get one to hit it they head shake and the weight of the lure allows them to throw it.
Christopher Thompson for sure. I was so hard just to reel it in I should have had the drag locked down tighter and kept the boat in gear the whole time I think. Also it needs a 4th hook of the rear one to get moved forward. We’ll be back next year to figure it out 👊🏼
Those St croix mojo trolling rods are designed for trolling heavy mojo lures which is a ultra heavy parachute jig we use here in the Chesapeake Bay for trophy size striped bass. I also bet it would be a good lure for those muskie. And what I was saying about lure size is the bigger the lure the easier it is for the fish to use it as leverage to throw the hook. And I definitely agree about what your saying about hook placement you probably need at least 4 trebles possibly five instead of the 3 that are on it.

Those mojos are have a big bait profile and catch big fish. Another big bait profile lure we use for striped bass that I bet would work for those Muskies is large bunker spoons.
John Norris the Musky Mojos I have in the video are fiberglass trolling rods. The bait isn’t to big just needs better hook placement and I should have tightened down my drag more. We will be back next year with more giant baits!

Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.

Well I caught a 24” pike, then a 44” musky ate my pike and i boated both. So your big lure should catch fish.

Ryan Pickering it’s a portage from Clearwater lake into Pipestone lake. It’s the only way to get in and out of Pipestone.
