Thank you for sharing and Thank you to the person who advised you of this too, as I read comments. This is well known in the BGA community that the bottom glass of this machine strongly advisable to be removed and in comparison to the jovy system e.g re-8500, which do not need removal of glasses.
Good job! Thank you.
Hi Raff, did you see that damaged cap on Vcore Phases? Bob
good eye Bob, yes I did see that :)
@@blackhorserepairs 😁 Also just for information see this. "The melting point of lead-free solder is approximately 217 °C. But you cannot solder at this temperature! The soldering temperature should be approximately 100 ° C above the melting point. That means a total temperature of 317 °C."
@@stoptheirlies Interesting, on my hot air gun I use 380C for lead-free solder. The max temp I can set on the IR station is 260 but at 235 the socket drops pretty well. It also works well for desoldering and the original solder from the factory should be lead-free right?
Well done Raff, looks like it's all coming together. Bob
GREAT! Do you think its remotly possible to replace a LGA 1851 cpu socket?
yes, not much different from AM5
Is this a board review or a socket repair? 🙄
A little bit of both, I find it interesting to examine the board not to mention useful 😉
