As for the pcv valve if it's split it doesn't usually cause any problems but it does then mix oil residue with the black carbon soot from the egr valve. That turns into a sludge and causes issues with valves and the egr itself.
You can just run a oil catch can. £15 on ebay. That's what I've got on the Laguna because I had a similar issue.
I looked today for it and couldn't find it. I actually popped all the coils, cleaned them and re seated them and the cars running great. But I want new plugs soon. None of my sockets would fit this car. It must be a tiny special one
@@motorcyclerescuer isn't it diesel?the plugs won't make much difference although it's been cold lately. Most noticeable on start up.
The pcv is usually attached to the valve cover. We'll take a look when I'm up next 👌👌

I'm unsure Derek as the Drs weren't very good on this occasion. I'm still not great but can manage a day just at the moment.

I've heard not so good things about the dominator lights but wanted to get them for the street fighter look. I'll be getting some now I've seen this. Not to bad actually, stuff what other people think. 👍
I'm surprised at how negative the feedback is on them. So far Gary says they are definitely better then the original cheap round one.
I guess you could always buy more powerful bulbs if needed
@@motorcyclerescuer I was thinking separate fog led strip light under the doms when on the high beam for the dark roads near me close to lake District not much light up there lol.
I was also just telling my missus I needed a soldering kit as my petrol tank just sprung a leak😢 always worth having cos I need to do some wiring on the beast as well.

If your smart enough then you get the idea of an install through this vid, if not you can watch one of the other install vids I've done or someone else's install vids. Your also welcome to pay a local mechanic £100 or so to install for you.

Hope Rabjab gets well soon. Hate to break it to you dominators look really cool but are the most utterly useless lights you could possibly fit to a bike although they are probably better than that thing thats on it! Never been so scared as when I was riding an old bandit on on sometime unlit roads with them. They are genuinely attempted murder in the dark.
In central London we are constantly lit up so it dosnt matter to much. Definitely better then the rubbish on before.
@@motorcyclerescuer Fair enough, its a pity you can't get led inserts for them. I've used Harley daymaker clones off of Aliexpress in bates style lights before and they were awesome.
I think the led bulbs aren't allowed anymore if I remember rightly. A bike won't pass mot with them. I would need to look that up but I'm sure they changed the rules about them a few years ago. I've used them in the past

I would just like to warn about those dominator headlights, I fitted the same to my V-strom and the stock bulbs run really hot so ended up melting the leftside plastic bulb housing. May have just been a one off but just keep an eye on how hot they get
No you are right Zac, that's a good point. The Chinese bulbs that come with these are normally bad. We will switch over next weekend I think for peace of mind.
Yes it's common on any Chinese light. Even the bulbs are fake and cheaply made causing problems. It happens when you buy Chinese indicators aswell.
