Thanks for this! I had no idea that this could be an MOT failure. This is now on my list of things to check in the near future on my 2004 E46 325Ci. I already replaced the little retaining rubber strap as mine had vanished in years gone by, but I'll be checking the O-ring as well now. Cheers!
