Smelled gypsy water yesterday and it immediately spoke to me. I’m really debating getting a bottle for the summer. Your description of a lemon meringue pie is spot on. On me the sweet notes of the vanilla mixed with the lemon really come out and I love it! Gypsy water is what I wanted from Lira by Xerjoff tbh, but that one is to eatible, this one has the right amount of freshness from the lemon and bergamot and sweetness from the vanilla in the base.
Great review style. You really get across what the scent profile is like.

Interesting Gypsy Water is so lemony to you!
On me it almost leans too smokey but also creamy and I don’t get the citrus as much. I love it though I always want to sniff myself when I wear it. Reminds me of being in the woods :)

Sometimes when I don’t know what perfumes I like online, I look at all my perfumes that I have write all the notes down and see what I like best and go off that. Byredo inflorescence looks like I would love it

Can you spray it on the body as well?
Indeed! I got “Lira” from Xerjoff and it’s ok. Not the same projection but it stays for 7 hours more or less in my clothes/hair. I’m gonna do the same with Byredo 🙂
Get the oils ladies. It’s $85 usd and will last longer than the hair spray.

I knew Blanche would be a hit when I wore it someone kept saying soap, soap but it has a great scent! My favorite is Mojave Ghost I like the sandalwood and cedar I love woodsy fragrance

Never experienced a fragrance like Blanche. Also tried Bal d‘Afrique, Rose of No Man‘s Land, and Gypsy Water. Blanche is my favorite.

I don't like Blanche and Gypsy water, but I have all the others and Bibliotheque is my favorite. Also Unnamed, Mixed emotions and Velvet haze are quite nice, but as you said, Byredo fragrances don't last so much on skin.
Love Mojave ghost, Blanche and Casablanca Lily. I love La Tulipe as a hair mist. As a perfume it's too sweet, but I love when my hair smells sweet, as if I just put in a hair mask, so it's a really good scent for that.
Does it smell like the tulip scent from Rituals?

I Adore Mojave Ghost😍 I smelled it the first time at work. There was this aura of a wonderful smell in the hotel lobby that captivated me🥰 A tingeling love at first sniff! There are a lot of nice perfumes but that doesnt happen everyday (the discontinued or reformulated version of Miss Dior Cherie with the popcorn note in it was another🥰) so i just had to know what it was.
After some detective work i found out it was Mojave Ghost. Its so far the most expensive perfume ive bought but i figured it was worth it.. and the scent really is worth it but sadly not the longevity.. it disappears so fast :(

But i still Love the scent so much i might buy another one anyway when this one is empty. If i cant find an Exact dupe🙈

It’s interesting that you found Bal D’Afrique masculine. I have it and it’s the sweetest fragrance I own. I probably wouldn’t buy it again because I find it very one dimensional and it almost smells like cotton Candy, just too sweet. Most Byredo fragrances are one dimensional to me, much better as candles.

It’s something on it . I loved Chanel chance eu tendre , and I love and wearing a Mojave Ghost ❤ the eyes closed is a beautiful scent also. Blanche smells like an old ladies soap. I hate that scent so much.
I’ve really come to love this house recently. I think my fave is velvet haze, it’s such a clean yet slightly dirty coconut and I’m absolutely in love with it. Mojave ghost and gypsy water are amazing ones too

I know gypsy water isn’t the most popular one but I went to the store never having smelled ANY of them before. It probably represents where I am in life but Gypsy smelled so comforting, not overbearing but present, memorable, some of them smell good but don’t represent me

I really dislike Mojave Ghost, it smells like acrylic to me like a nail salon.
I wore Blanche to the office and someone told me I smell like carpet fresh 🙄
