Hey thinking of doing a few sak custom for myself, saw the acid etching of tools, will this make the material easier to rust instead of the chrome finish?
I haven't had any issues the acid etched tools rusting. I've read online that the acid etching may actually prevent rusting, but I can say if it does from personal experience. But... I have acid etched K390 Dragonflys (not a stainless steel) before and they did not rust.
I like it but it’s typical overpriced for Olight imo. $40 would be more appropriate for such a small light. Brynite makes better for less I think.
There's definitely lots of cheaper flashlights out there. I've never used Brynite, so I can't say how they compare.
@@FittoSurvive me neither but I checked them out and they are a Canadian company that seems to make a decent product for a little less than Olight.
@@richroc7 Interesting... I get what you mean about Olight being a Chinese company, but with all of their flashlights that I have tested none of them have the "Chinese quality" feel to them.
@@FittoSurvive i don’t think I mentioned anything about it being a Chinese company but I understand that you reply to many comments so no worries. I have no problem with Chinese companies in fact I can only afford Thrunite atm. 👍🏼

Agree but it’s not made for that. That’s why they make different types of flashlights for different purposes.
LOL Definitely not my go to for a shotgun light. But, that would be a great durability test. I'd try it and share if UA-cam didn't have a firearms limitation... My video would get demonetized for showing a firearm.
