Lots of knowledge at s&f, if you ever need. Highly suggest water pressure gauge, and head temp gauge. Be extremely careful with that mid! Would suck coming apart at speed!

If your using a 2 piece plate and steel bore motor just run the tstats and don’t put the rubber grommets in the water galleries only really need that for 1 piece plate with no tstats/poppet. Will make sure the water has time to absorb the heat from the block. 225 promax will turn 7k all day on 2 piece plate with 143 thermostats and poppet

Water pressure gauge is fundermental.
Also, when you come across those unpainted blocks be aware that they are special.
